eightluvver888's Review
Ha, ha, this is my first review, so bear with me.

I personally really loved Ah! My Goddess because it was funny and sweet, and the main characters are so pure. The focus is true love, and I highly recommend it!

Violence/Gore Notes:
Not really much that I'd worry about. Though people sometimes get blown out of the sky by random things, it's mostly exaggerated and for comic effect. No gore.

Nudity Notes:
One of the things some people may take some issue with. Belldandy is very modest, but Urd's (another primary character) clothing is almost always not. Her normal "goddess" outfit has a nice-sized slit down the middle, and her personality is a lot more amorous than the other characters. However, for some reason, I never got serious fanservice vibes like I do with most other fanservice. Maybe it's because I found that the clothing styles in different characters reflect their personalities' extreme differences. The proportions aren't over-exaggerated either, except maybe in Keiichi's case, lol. There are a few swimming episodes, so there are a few bikinis. Also, there are a notable amount of moments where people aren't wearing any clothes (they're covered to a point where there's nothing inappropiate showing) and they walk in on each other.

Sexual Content Notes:
Again, with nudity, something people may take issue with. There are quite a few randomly thrown in sexual references, but no actual sex. But again, I for some reason didn't get thrown off by it like normal. People make joking comments, people shove Keiichi onto Belldandy, and people are often in hard-to-explain situations. Let's just say that Belldandy has to be very trusting of Keiichi at many times. Urd, though she does care a lot for her sister, does often push for Keiichi to make a move on Belldandy. Not really a show for someone who's super-sensitive to that kind of stuff. But also, let it be noted that Keiichi is really afraid of confessing his love to Belldandy, much less even kissing her.

Theological Notes:
Well, there are obviously goddesses in an anime titled Ah! My Goddess, though they are by no means all-powerful beings. They use some minor magic, but it's not used in a Satanic way. Heaven's really more of a system that the goddesses use to grant wishes effectively. There's one known as "God," but he's not really that major of a character, he kind of just exists and watches everything. The thing that could really be an issue to some is the antagonistic "demons," one of which is a fairly recurring character. They are basically the natural enemies of the goddesses. They aren't really like real demons though, as their goal is to inconvinience humans and goddesses rather than to drag people's souls to hell. I probably explained that terribly, and it's really not that huge of an issue, in my opinion. But I also don't generally tend to care about nonexistent beings.

Other Themes Notes:
There may be swearing (I really don't remember at all), but if there was, it was mild. Some characters get drunk for comic effect, but it's not shown as good or beneficial.

Dub vs Sub:
I just watched the dub, so my content is based off of that.

Anyway, that was probably terrible, and I most likely missed a lot. Regardless, enjoy! The plot really reflects trust and loyalty in a relationship, and it's really sweet. Again, I highly recommend it!
