Demon's Souls

This game is TOUGH, but I do like it a good bit. You get to choose which class you want to be wether it be a knight/priest/etc...and get to customize their looks to the eyebrows!

But this is not the focus of the game. It drops all training wheels that have guided you up to this point in RPG games. Demon's Souls is a Dark RPG.

You may wonder why I even bought the game seeing as how I am not a dark person, but one of the guys in the dorm is an RPG junkie who thrives off of RPGs and MMORPGs. So he wanted me to get the game so we could both play together.

The game is a multiplayer game that you can allow others to play with you through the internet. You can also play it single player(Which I currently am.), but it will make it that much tougher.

As much as I would like to explain the whole game, I would like someone else here to play it and then I will speak.

It is a good, but terribly challenging game!

Funny how, with its (albeit somewhat odd) multiplayer integration, it feels so alive and so lonely all at the same time.

It's good though. Certainly is a blast to play. Hard, frustrating at times, but a blast all the same.

I know what you mean! It feels extra dead when you are playing it solo.

Too true. Love how cautious it makes you though. Especially after playing so many games in recent memory that are essentially easy-mode the whole way through.

"Hmm... a blood stain. Two blood stains... hmm... hmm... probably shouldn't move too much... hmm... what's that over ther- oh god it burns!!"

XD Right, that's how I see it!

They should make a message that you can put that says, "If you are reading this, it is still a miracle that you are still alive, by continuing to read this message you will be dead in 3, 2, BURN!"

At least that wouldn't be misleading, like some of the messages I've read. Gotten me killed/severely injured more than a few times by 'paying heed' to other people's 'warnings'.

Hahaha, I didn't even think about people trolling with the warning messages.

This game really doesn't like my kind of game. Super difficult and a dungeon crawler... I'm probably gonna pass, but I'm glad it's getting such positive attention. I think it's the first Dungeon Crawler on PS3, though there are 10 billion on PSP.

My brother got this last week. I haven't played it but yes I thought this was the best part since I'm not really into games like this. There was this one part where there was like a short, foot high wall along the edge of a cliff... well in the middle there's like a broken opening where you can just walk off and die. I told him to set a message to tell people to walk straight on through. That message ended up being the only one that really got "Recommended" over all the helpful ones he left. Came back and there were a few blood spots around there. One guy was like standing there for a few seconds I guess reading the message and then he just walks off. Others were rolling and juping out the opening It was hilarious And the message got like 10 recommendations... All his helpful ones got like 1 or 2 if any...

I don't know why people don't look at the blood stains...
