This contest is on Gamespot, which, although I guess it's the same as gamefaqs in a way, is not the same contest. Though I agree that most of these contests end up being ridiculous. If it's not "LOL overrated character X pwns", it's "OMG why does no one like Y!", or "LOL why does everyone love Z? He/She is stupid!"
Ad infinitum, until the most popular character wins.
