'ello.

I was wondering who all here plays Guitar Hero? On Expert? Hyperspeed? Jordan beaten? Almost ALL five stars? Oh, I'm sorry. I'm describing myself, aren't I? : P

Naw, seriously. How long have you guys been playing and how good are ya'?

I rarely play anymore, but I was into it for a while. I got up to Expert but then Rock Band came out and it has music that I actually listen to (with the exception of Guitar Hero having Every Time I Die...that was awesome...), so I decided I liked it more.

Guitar Hero, though, was pretty sweet for a while, it's just that whenever I play it, I feel like I need to go and play my real guitar for double that amount.

Used to play a lot! I've mastered medium, but can't seem to get the hang of that fifth fret otherwise I'd bee kicking all kind of butt.

I love Guitar Hero, though I'm not playing as much right now. I've just about mastered Hard and can play some of the easier Expert songs. But...it does get old after a while, you know? And there are only about 8 songs on GHII that I actually like, so...

This is a GH thread, I know, but I WANT ROCK BAND. I've got the PS3 now. If only I had 170 bucks... @_@

I enjoy playing Guitar Hero.. Though I grown out of it, so to speak, and now I hardly play it.
I am in anticipation to purchase the upcoming Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.

OOC: By the way, Metallica fans, according to Wikipedia, they are doing a Guitar Hero: Metallica.. Keep your eye out.. I know I will.

I used to play the GH games (I have 1, 2, and 3), but I'm having too much fun actually playing and making music with real instruments to be too interested in it anymore. Rock Band interests me for the co-op aspect, though.

I would like to see a blues/blues-rock based Guitar Hero or Rock Band game. Considering that rock and roll owes so much to the blues, it seems logical; the problem is that a lot of kids today probably wouldn't be interested.

The licensing would be basically impossible, but a Guitar Hero or (better) Rock Band: Led Zeppelin would be all sorts of win.

Rockband is fun if you have friends who aren't obsessed with wanting it to be difficult... The guitar / bass in Rock band is all around easier than GHIII, though. I share Rock Band with a friend. We each paid 92 dollars... (Tax included)

I can play expert on GH, but I can only get to the last area without losing to a Metallica Song, CURSE THEIR MIGHTY RIFFS!

I've been having the wierdest problem with GH3 for my PS2. Upstrokes on the strum bar. Seems like over half the time upstrokes miss when they should be dead on. I'm sure it's not the guitar 'cause it works fine with the other 2 games. Anyone else have this problem?

I started playing last summer. I was with my friends renting a cabin in New Hampshire, and we brought all our video game systems XD. We used to play guitar hero for like...8 hours a day. Got to the point where we'd get like guitar hero flashbacks. XD

But I can medium....decently I guess. Haven't played it enough to really master it. I play like....once every 3 months.

Er sorry for grave digging this. Yesterday I actually decided to buy GHIII for my PS3(Man, $90 for it, it better be good.) and loved it. But Im only a beginner. Im trying to get better each time I play. But Im having problems with hammering on and pulling off though. Ive done quite a bit of the career mode. Im in level or chapter(Whatever you call it.) 6 right now.
