Its currently in transit to my house...I'll be playing it some time next week. Once I start playing it I'll be able to talk in more detail about it.

Roomie got it yesterday. So far it's turning out to be a lackluster Haloish type shooter, even down to bits of the aesthetic.

Yeah, I've heard the story and presenation are pretty...stereotypical...though, as odd and as ridiculous as this sounds, for me what's more interesting is there control scheme and all the customization you can do with it and everything else. What I do know is that it can't be as bad as Stalin vs. Martians.

Plot-wise, I'd believe it, but the weapons and format feel very halo.

I really want to get it but I'm low on cash.
I like that HVS is making some "hardcore" games for the wii and really want to support them.
"Who is this?" they said to Me
'That the wind and waves obey
Come, let's hang Him on a tree
That His reign should pass away'
But here I am I say to you
Though you turn away, it is My will
To love you for forevermore
Peace be still, peace be still

Well I just got it...actually I got it yesterday but I had no clue it was in my mail box untill just now. But yeah, I'll be playing it later tonight.

Edit: So I just played it for a little bit...and yeah, its a generic shooter however I've been enjoying it so far. Maybe its because as a Wii owner I've been starved for any sort of serious game for awhile. Or maybe its because I enjoy generic fps...either way, my only big criticism of the game so far is that the AI does not seem as good as advertised. Sure they take cover every once and a while, but for some reason they still have a tendency to walk out into the mild of the stage and let you take pot shots at them without really moving...and they don't work together...maybe its the difficulty I'm playing on (if you can change the difficulty...I didn't check...), but yeah...that aspect could have used some improving.

Just got it. Haven't had a chance to play it yet. I don't expect it to blow me away, but it looks like it'll be fun.

The multiplayer seems to be the big selling point. I got to watch some last night. Jon wanted multiplayer, but he dislikes the standard control scheme on the PS3 and 360, so this felt more natural to him. There were some issues I could see with hit detection, particularly with rocket launchers (which shouldn't really have that issue that I can see) but for the most part if you just wanted solid MP on the Wii, this may be your bet.
