Help starving people by matching up words...! Kind of strange sounding, but why not? We all could use some brushing up on our language and it is helping others. ^^

For the donation? I'd imagine they'd weigh 10 grains of rice and then mathematically determine how much they're giving based on weight rather than the actual number of grains of rice.

I'm addicted to this thing now. It's awesome. Increasing my vocabulary is always awesome, and this is better than reading the dictionary. I'm at lik 2.2k grains, atm.

Ah well. I've already been long doing my part.

Kind of fun, but I've found a few definitions that are kind of... wrong. Or at least... inexact enough that the word actually means something quite different, but marginally related.

Don't rely on the meanings from this site - if you come across a word that's new to you, look it up in a real dictionary.

I've been telling everyone to go play it, XD. Improving my vocabulary to feed starving people is loads of fun.

Are some of y'all on the theologyweb boards? That's where I heard of this thing. I played all night on it when I found it out.

For curiosity sake, I looked up how many grains of rice are in a one-pound bag: 29,000 grains. There are a lot of people doing it though, so maybe it'll still help. Maybe we'll get over a couple of bags.

This is fun, but the only problem is that some of the words around level forty have around twelve meanings; and I look at the options and go, "What the crap?"

...btw; my highest score so far is 42. What about you guys?

46. I think that might have been the day I got 10k grains in one sitting. ._.; I-I was really desperate for a method of procrastination.

I think mine is 42, although I run around 39 most of the time.
