Yes Yes Yes, it's another "Nostalgic" thread ^_^

When you first joined Caa, who was the "one" or "who were" the ones I talked to when you happened upon here

For me, it was Cap'n Nick He was known as Cap'n Crack back then XDD I seriously DID NOT think of his name in that way I honestly thought of it as "crack" as in "jokes" xDD; Not the other.. >_>;

There were others I would talk with here and there as well ^ ^ There was Kunoichi (Ninja Girl back then), Nate (Kae back then), MSP (still our Mr.Smarty Pants to this day ), Nami, Samron (whom I haven't talked to in a while), Bakura Fan, Crrimmy (CrimsonRyu17), Kenshin17, Gypsy (whom I've haven't talked to in a long time either o.o), Shadowblade, Kura_Okami, and some others here and there ^ ^ I also remembering talking to a to a certain mod here and there by the name of ShatterHeart, but I didn't realize this was the same ShatterHeartArk until I became more active here ^ ^;

Gosh, the first people I talked with on CAA...XD I can't remember all of them, but actually, Lucky, I think you were one of them. XD I remember getting PMs from you not long after I joined, anyways. XD I also remember PMing back and forth with Silvanis a little before she left.

While I don't recall most of the people I spoke with on the forums themselves, I vividly remember my first chat, and subsequent chats. XD Included would be Nate, Az(ier), Osaka, Yumie, Shiroi, Jamie (Kkun), Cap'nNick (Cap'nCrack back then XD), Dan (Yahshua), YeshuaKnight, SigmaKnight, and Impact Alberto (now Joshua Christopher). Old Java chat FTW.

Also, I'm pretty sure Ryan (SmartyPants) and Linksquest are included in that "first CAAers I knew" group. I also just remembered Talame (Hephzibah now, I think), who I haven't seen around in forever. And of course, Kitchan (ChristianKitsune), as she's the one who invited me to CAA in the first place. XD

Interesting topic. XD It's so weird to think that I'm coming up on my third year here, looking back at all of the people who are or aren't still active on the boards, not to mention the fact that there was a day when I did not know how to operate the chat. Wow. XD

I remember Nick telling me of Crimy's craziness in the chatx XDD I had to hold in my LAWLING due to the fact that I was always at the library XDD Something about "robotic love"

Oh yeah, you were RurouniKaoru back then ^ ^ I've read so many fun/funny things in chat from way back when, but I was unable to enter chat (library rules.. meh u_u/).

Come to think of it, many of the people I talked to frequently when I first joined are now 1). banned or 2). just stopped coming.

That would include more than a handful of mods 9_9

I'm a former lurker, so I watched a couple members here and there before joining; Nate, Jon Jinn, BigSleepJ, and Tom Dincht (TeeLay) come directly to mind. And after signing my name in the front lobby, I jumped into the community head first with my first post, rather than pen an introduction thread (which I did later). I eventually got to know Ryan (Mr. SmartyPants) and Corrie (Radical Dreamer) on the boards and Nate in the Chat. Wind was the first person to PM me.

Just over a year ago, and I already feel like on of the locals.

The three for me were Ryan (MSP), meboeck, and Linksquest...then I disappeared for a while (yay Dial-Up...) and when I returned (with cable...hehe...) I got involved in the whole Temuopolis thing...yeah I know...it didn't occur when I first got here...but it counts for me since I really wasn't an active member until that point...

As far as i can remember, the first people I spoke to in the chat were you, Tsu, and Dan (Yahshua). I'm still fairly new though.

The first PM I sent was to a couple of Mods. I had some questions. Hey, I didn't know, I ask when I don't know. Since then I've met lots of other people and still getting into the community!

For me, it was people like Nate, Jasdero, T-Chan, Debitt, c.t.girl, and a whole bunch of others, eventually Radical Dreamer, Fish, and chibiphonebooth.

Uggh, I remember when Caa was out for a bit (a couple days I think). I about went crazy out of my mind I had joined other forums, but they weren't the same. Yeah, they had the same look/format, but it wasn't the same. I remember as soon as it came back. I was right back here checking Private Messages

Speaking of missing mods. I remember talking to Yumie here and there to ^__^

Most of them, as I understand it, are just really, really busy right now and don't have a lot of time to spend on the boards. I don't doubt the number of active mods will rise some time in May or June, when college releases its extremely busy hold on everyone for a time. XD

As for Shooraijin, if I understand correctly, he has a career that takes up too much time to allow for any modding on CAA. XD

I don't really talk to people outside of the forums I join unless there's a chat option like the CAA has or they ask for my AIM. In which case, I'll give it and we'll talk via another form of communication. ^__~ I've gotten a few PMs but other than that the only person outside of forum I have spoken with is Lucky.

The first time I stepped foot into the chat was when AngelSakura, Lunis, Nate, Siggy, and some others were making fun of gummi handcuffs. I didn't say too much 'cause I was laughing so hard. XD;

And of course that was when I greeted Nate with a cup of scalding hot coffee.

Otherwise, through the RPG forums, Sao, Nami, and Eriana. Had a loooot of fun RPing with 'em although I honestly don't know how they put up with me.

Then came Ryan, Jim, Corrie, and all those.

Yeah, crazy fun times.

Oh man XD I remember when it was down and the date of when it would be back up was in the English style. I thought CAA was gonna be down for like three months XD

I used to talk to a guy called Archan a loooooong time ago, but when we made the jump to the .com, he didn't really come around much anymore.

Inkhana and I became friends on the old boards and are still friends today, even though she's not on the boards now.

I was one of the original moderators on here, so of course, I talked to other staff members a lot-- Shatterheart, Ashley, Gypsy. And of course Lightbringer, Straylight, and shooraijin, all of which have moved on to other things.

I remember interacting with Lunis, Sakura, UC Pseudonym, Vyse, MelMak, Spiritsword, and Kura Ookami the most in my first days.

Ah, the old CLAMP fanclub.

Hmm. The first one that comes to mind is SpoonyBard since he was the one who refered me this site ^__^.

I've also been chatting a lot with Tsukuyomi and Mathgrant.

Hmm...I made a thread....I think it was 'Driving A Car=Piloting a Gundam?' That's where I actually first talked to CAAers (after the Who's Who thread).
That's where I met Temulin (USSRGirl). Then she 'hired' me as her 'Supreme Justice', sucking me into the Goof Off madness. Then I made friends with Jaden Mental because I got fired and joined his side . They're the people I've talked A LOT with since I joined ^_^. Like PM overload 'a lot'.

XD I remember when I first joined chat. It was...interesting. A heck of a lot more interesting than chat with my real (school) friends on AIM (no offense real friends!).

I think the first person I became friends with was Okami, then I met Darkelf and Temmy in Elf's story thread (which you need to update by the way, missy! ). Then I went in the chat and started talking to Corrie and then Ryan was like "LOLSTATEBUDDIES!!!" Yeah, good times even though I haven't been here that long.

Hey, inspiration and ideas don't come so easy! If I rush into things, things don't come out right (like this short story I wrote today. Lots of revising >.<).

I can remember Talking with Steeltemplar, Animeheretic, (I think he goes by another name now) both of them aren't active anymore...(gaah I miss them so much!! T^T)

At the same time, I met Sakura15, Nami, and a few months later, FaithFighter.

Kiba-Kun, (also known as Mythmaster) was invited by me in May, and I also told Raddie-chan about this place too! (we both met on a Rurouni Kenshin fan forum, I think she saw my artwork or something and I told her about CAA...back then she was "Rurouni_Kaoru" i think... hrm..

I was ChristianRonin when I first joined XD. Wow.. I remember how everyone called me Pizza Topping because my name was cut off in the early chat days to ChristianRoni XP

ahh.. I remember meeting Chibiphonebooth as well in the RP area! 8D

I used to live there XD I don't anymore. Its just not the same with some of my really good CAA friends gone. -_-

Although I haven't been here long I would say the people who I talked to were teen4truth in some PMs about my first avatar on CAA, Blitzkrieg1701(Animazment buddy or well we may have met at it.), Roy Mustang( The schedule master!), and uc pseudonym(It was a few PMS that I talked with him. I believe it was over KH2.)

I now also talk to ssj2gohan61.

Seriously, though, I don't really remember who all I talked to at the beginning. I remember meeting termyt and Bigsleepj. I met some others, too, but I don't recall who I met right off the bat and who I met a bit later.

Many of the members who initially populated these forums didn't stick around, for whatever reason. It's strange to reflect on that now.

Some, of course, are still present, like Ashley. Gypsy and Shatterheart used to be around a fair bit, and I enjoyed chatting with Shooraijin. I remember when Mithrandir was using his older handle and had Vampire Hunter D as his avatar.
