Beyblade Volume 2

I mean no offense to anyone who likes Beyblade, but: I expected this to be lame, and it did not disappoint. Then again, the characters within it are gradeschoolers, so I shouldn't have expected the manga-ka to be aiming very high.

That would be Death Note volume five, chapter forty. I must say I have no idea where the manga-ka is going with this.
Think happy thoughts.

*Pft!* We should start a club. *eyes Yumi*
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I'm reading the first book of full metal alchemist (Viz release) pretty good and the anime seems really close to it.

This is short-lived. The anime begins to vary rather quickly, and as of the episodes aired on Adult Swim at this date, these variations become extensive (eventually, characters are even different). I have not seen or read the end of the series, so I cannot comment upon it. Overall, however, I liked the manga story better.

We'll I'll continue with the manga then... I love the TV show, but would like to see how different it could be.

:poke: Me too! but seriously. Mizuki is getting on my nerves being so careless!

I'm basically trying to "keep up with the Jones" in my favorite titles so I'm reading several at a time.... (Perhaps Mangafanatic should have been my screen name. :p) So, I'll just list the one I'm seriously obsessing over right now;

Sono Te wo Dokeru
The main character is so adorable... that is until he opens his mouth.

Love or Money vol. 2
Akuma de Sourou (The Devil Does Exist) vol. 1 (skimmed it)
Ok, I cracked, I read Akuma de Sourou :shake:
I read most of the scanlations of it before it was licensed, but stopped reading it after
Takeru and the girl had sex (nothing shown or anything, but it still happened :( )
After that sort of thing happens in a manga I won't continue with it. I did, however, read the translations of the last chapter after that to see what happened at the end; it makes me sad that that had happened, otherwise I might have bought the series for the great, original artwork (Takeru!! my bishie!!!), even with all the bad filler pictures w/ just artwork (what are those things called, those pics that are right at the beginning of each chapter that are just artwork?)-I could have just inked over/whited out those parts.... I ♥ how Takeru looks....he is such a cute punk bishie... too bad that thing happened in the manga *cries*

Rurouni Kenshin, Volume 14

Bought and read it yesterday.

Are you talking about title pages?
