Bleach ship-wars

If any of you have kept up with the Bleach fandom, you'll know that the ship wars are reaching fever pitch lately. XD So now I'm curious - what are your favorite pairings and why?

I'm a bit different, because while most people either seem to like Ichigo/Rukia and Ishida/Orihime, or Ichigo/Orihime and Renji/Rukia - I like Ishida/Orihime AND Renji/Rukia. XDDD

I'm not proud to ship, but I can't help really hoping this one works out. This desire certainly birthed a possibly unwarranted dislike of Hime. I just loved Ichigo and Ruki's dynamic from the beginning of the manga, and I think Rukia is a more complex and interesting character than Orihime.

But I've stopped reading Bleach a while ago, and most of the pairings I see don't really make sense to me OH WAIT IT'S A SHOUNEN JUMP MANGA SO THAT MAKES SENSE.

IchigoxRukia and IshidaxOrihime make the most sense to me (even though nothing will probably happen) because at least one person in each pair likes the other and I like to think that the people with crushes will end up happy, XD.

I love IchigoxRukia!!! I can't help myself...I always have....^_^ But then..there is Renji with Rukia too..eh..they both work..but I don't like Orihime..so maybe she will end up alone? =) Muahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! =/ sorry

I agree with UC's acessment.

Other than that I checked that because I don't ship anything but random crack pairings, mostly for humor value. Other than that I let the author decide if charachters should get together, since they generally know them better than the fandom.

Same here. I get sick of people complaining when their favorite pairing doesn't happen. Honestly, the person who created the characters gets to decide when and if any of them enter relationships with one another, so I'm usually happy with whatever the creator decides.

Other than that... yeah. I would be a complete traitor to myself and all I stand for if I didn't whole-heartedly ship Ichigo and Rukia... I always saw myself as having Rukia's temperament, and therefore set about wishing for my Ichigo to appear... which he did, in the form of one incredibly awesome IchiTone... <333

I think Ichigo/Rukia is good, but maybe some Ichigo/Orihime, too. I like Orihime.

Hitsugaya/Hinamori is good, too, because there's no other girl who could go with him - except for maybe Matsumoto or OCs. But, Matsumoto/Hitsugaya is weird... and the OC oftentimes becomes Mary-Sue. I don't like Mary-Sue... On the other hand, Hinamori is totally messed up after Aizen leaves. So, I guess my favorite pairing for Hitsugaya is... well, none.

Byakuya/Hisana is good, too. It's so tragic that she died! And you can tell that he loved her dearly, too. ;_; ...

Mm, I don't think there are any other pairings... except for, maybe, Yoruichi/Urahara. That's pretty cool. They rock.

Frankly, I rarely get into shipping, though I do have a few exceptions hidden away in my fangirl closet.

None of the main Bleach ships really intrigue me, but I do rather like the established Yoruichi/Urahara.
