Innocent Obsession

Flying upon the eagle's wings
Spirit giving breath to the flight
igniting the flames of obsession

The mountain moves
by the seed of a plant
hoping that people
give it more than a glance
fuel to the fire
to my obsession

A single word to the hardened
they turn to deaf
and gouge their eyes
in attempt to block the Light
and embrace the chains of darkness

In awe of You
can I not be?
Heralder of my eagle's wings
ladder to the depth of my humanity
into the dark pit of my despair
you lit the torch
that now spreads to reach the world
