The Leader and the follower

One night, as I was sleeping, I had a dream. I was in a room of light, lying on the ground. I could barly see around me. I wonder to myself "Is this a dream? Am I dead? What is going on?" Suddenly, I see a figure walk toward me. Still dazed by the light of the room, I could not look into the strangers face.

"Why am I here?" I managed to ask as I struggled to look at the unknown persons face. I heard his voice, a deep, comforting voice. " Your here to make a discision." I stood up onto my feet and noticed how tall the man was. I looked up to his face, vainly trying to see it. " What is this choice?"

The man knelt down to one knee, comeing to eye level with me. "Follow me, or not." I finally saw who the man was. It was Jesus! " Lord! I...thought I was..." I started to think back to how I have used my life. A few great times when I helped friends understand God, yet I was still in control. My life was...and still is a mess. I began to cry at the masters feet. "I...I'm sorry about what I have done..." He held me in his arms. I felt safe. "Don't worry about the past...just chose."

I got up, still with tears in my eyes, but with a smile on my face. "I will follow, Lord." He smiled at me, and stood up. "It will be a long journey, and you could lose friends...or your life. You understand this, right?" I nodded. "Then lets start."

After that night, I started to let him lead my life.
