Shadow Crisis Ep0: Prelude (Warning Violence)

Postby Shia Kyosuka » Fri May 27, 2005 2:28 pm

Below is my really bad writing skills of the past.

My grammar and whatever else is really bad in this.

Also, it's really cheesy. If you must read this, then be warned. My writing back then sucked.

Well here it is. The story's been improved alot from what I typed into the Shadow Crisis RPG thread.

Hope you like it

Shadow Crisis: Prelude

Ever since Shia was a small child, we was a very shady but energetic person. He never talked to anybody, but when he did, he would talk in a shady voice. So he would always walk around his small hometown. His favorite place to hang out was under the town entrance bridge. When he was there, he always felt alot better then when he was around other people. He read a few books. But only the ones that were interesting to him and that was very few. He always wondered why nobody went into the basement. There wasn't anything wrong with it to him. So one day, when he wanted to be alone as usual and he went down into the basement. He was always alone in his basement. Because it seemed that everybody else was to afraid to go down there. While he was down there, he discovered a book. It was covered in dust. So Shia reach for it. But when he did, he felt a burn on the palm of his hand. "Gah! What the heck?!" Shia exclaimed. The book grew eyes. This disturbed Shia and he started to run back out of the basement. But before he got to the stairs, he ran into an invisible wall that wasn't there before. This also burned Shia. When he looked back, the book was gone! Shia screamed "MOM!". When his mom heared this, she sensed that something was wrong and ran all over the house to find Shia. She didn't find him so she finally decided to look into the basement. She hoped he wasn't in there. There she found him. "Shia!" she screamed. Shia said in a terrified voice "help.. me..." then the invisible wall became a visible wall of blue fire. Shia's mother needed to find something to break the wall. She found a baseball bat and began to strike the wall with it. The wall didn't even crack! She was certain she's never see Shia again. She desperately called his brother (Ziel) but he was nowhere to be found. She began to cry. The book appeared again at Shia's feet. But now it had a mouth. The book revealed it's teeth and let out a VERY loud scream. Then it disappeared again. But this time so did the wall. Shia looked around and didn't see anybody. He ran out of the basement and ran outside. He saw that his hometown was destroyed. He tried to run away from his house but again, he ran into an invisible wall. Then he saw Ziel floating in the air. "Ziel! Help me!" He cried. But ziel acted like he didn't even hear him. He looked and saw that he was dead. Shia screamed again. Zombies began breaking out of the broken buildings. Shia backed up but another grabbed him by the neck and bit him in the shoulder. Shia's wound seemed to blow up and alot of blood came out at once. Shia managed to break free, but the zombies hand was still around Shia's neck. He pulled it off and threw it. Just then, Shia had an idea! he ran to the wall and began climbing it. But when he got to the second story, another zombie's hand broke through the wall above Shia. Theis scared Shia off of thebuilding and he fell off. By this time, Shia's left shoulder and right leg were broken. Shia couldn't understand why they were all after him. All Shia could do was crouch down, cover his head, and scream. The zombies were closing in. The book appeared in the air and began to morph into and giant creature that Shia couldn't recognize. It let out another scream. After the scream, Shia saw his mother. He saw that she was okay. But there was nothing that he could do to get to her. He looked at his brother's airborne body. But now the body's eyes were open and it was smiling! It's eyes began to glow. "Eechkatoble chado!" Ziel screamed. The giant creature started moving at super speed. Finally Shia lost to much blood and blacked out.

6 years later

A government agent and her assistant were behind glass. She said "He's finally cured... wake him up". The government agent pressed a button on the mainframe computer and Shia woke up. The government agent and her assistant walked in. "Hello, Shia!" She said "Welcome back!". Shia was in a daze "umm... Shia?" he said. He looked up and saw that his bed was labelled with "Shia". The government said "Yes. That is your name. Don't you remember?". "Remember... what?" he asked "Where am I?". The government agent replied "You are in GDA building no. 634" "You were our first subject on Trasplocosis.". Shia asked "What's that? some sort of disease?". The government agent answered "Yes. But you are cured now. It took six years to find a cure. Unfortunately, we couldn't save anyone else in Kaldrea. You are lucky you survived.". Shia asked "What's Kaldrea?". The assistant replied "That's your hometown.". "oh... soo.... who are you two?" Shia asked. "Oh, right, we haven't introduced ourselves. I'm Tajco (Pronounced "Tosh co") and this is Jason" said the Government Agent. "Oh... Look, I can't remember anything. Maybe if I go back home, I'll remember at least a little bit of something about my past. Will you take me there?" "Sure. But since now that the disease has infected and mutated the animals near your hometown, we'll have to bring a field gun agent with us... Xan should be availible." Said Tajco. "Ok, that sounds cool... Xan's the field agent, right?". "Yes, that's right" Answered Jason.

2 hours later

"Alright! We're almost there!" Said Xan "We'll be there very soon.".
He loaded his guns and got ready. When they we're close enough, rats with red eyes, rows of teeth, and pitch black fur were around. Xan leaned out of the window and shot them before they could devour the car.
Shia thought to himself "Cool... He gets to shoot these monsters with guns for a job... I wonder how much he gets paid.". The car came to a stop. But Kaldrea was nowhere in sight. "But... this is where it's supposed to be....." Said Tajco. "Wait! You mean it's not here anymore?!" asked Shia "I'm afraid so..." . Suddenly a sword fell from the sky. It surprised everybody in the car. Shia got out but left the door open to make a fast get away. Xan said "Wait! Don't....!" But Shia had already touched the sword. As soon as Shia hands touched the handle, a message appeared on it's blade. It read:

Ye hath survived Satan's attack. Use this sword I hath sent thee, for now is the time to fight back.*

Shia was still confused, because he still had amnesia. Then another message appeared.

Ye memories will return... If ye hath faith in me*

Shia thought to himself "...a message from God?". Shia smiled, picked up the sword, strapped it to his back, and went back into the car. "Let's go" he said...

This would be where the Anime Episode/Manga issue would end.

It took forever to re-write the storyboard.

I'll start the first episode as soon as I can.

*I'm new at this kind of writing. So just bare with me.

Great! Nice writing. There are lot of ideas that seem like fragments at the moment, but I'm guessing they'll be expanded on later.
I'm a little put off by the violence, but that's just me :P . An intriguing beginning nonetheless. I'm interested to see where the story will lead.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting a few things though: to make the speech a little easier to read, it's good to begin a new line each time someone new speaks. Also just to help sentences flow, it can be a good idea to change their startings -e.g, mix them up with 'Quickly, he raced... Besides that... Even though... Tired as he was... In one moment... Suddenly... Checking to see if it was still raining, he...' etc.
Good on ya for writing this out; I've guessed from the pics I've seen of Shia around you've been brain-storming this for a while. How does it feel to have started writing it down?

Heh... I did this pretty late because that's when I had the inspiration.

I'll have to read over it again.

Thanks for the comment.

Edit: Uhh... Idk... well... Now that I've written this down, I feel alot better about it. The last story I wrote was trash... Trashacomic... Garbagetrashicle
It was only ment for temporary purposes though.

No problem!
Cool. I was just wondering because often I spend a lot of time brainstorming over an idea, yet don't write it. So by the time I finally start to write it it feels really good because I'm finally pouring out some of the overflowing ideas in my head  . <-If that doesn't make sense eh well; I'm feeling kinda tired at the mo and can't be bothered reading back over it.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have ideas all of the time. I didn't have time to write them in the school year, though. Now that it's the Summer, I've been trying to make the best with my time.

BTW, The first episode is up.
