Sight- a song

This is a song I wrote for a project I'm working on. Tell me what you think, please. I'm not very good at song writing...
[size=200]Sight
1. How much is enough,
When is the cost too great to pay?
When will our sacrifices become offerings,
Why is someday always another day away?
We’re all just living in chains
Prisoners of a deep shame
I live life blindfolded.
t’s a sorry way to live.
Chorus 1-
And…
I can’t see the light
For all the darkness in my eyes.
I can’t see the way
For all the lies I’ve been told.
I can’t feel the day
For all the pain I live through
I can’t see the light
From all the evil in my view.
Some body save me!
2.But I caught a glimmer of hope today.
It kept shining through
Even in the rain.
It held echoes of the past
And whispers of something new.
I recognized its song…
It reminded me of you.
Someday is finally today.
And I’m free to let go
Of all the pain I held onto.
Chorus 2-
And…
The stars are shining so bright tonight!
This could be the day….
I’m ready for the change.
And I can finally see,
There’s so much beyond me.
I can see the sparks flying….
This is how it feels to be alive.
Bridge-
It’s time for the revolutionary cry to sound.
And all mankind gathers around.
To break away from the norm
We must be transformed,
Into the image of the One.
It’s His love that sparked the revolution.
