"The Destiny of the Dying" Trigun Fanfiction

Postby AngelSakura » Sat Apr 30, 2005 6:04 pm

DISCLAIMER: I do not own Trigun (Trigun is copyright Yasuhiro Nightow and Shounen Gaho-sha). And there's, like, five jillion BIG FAT SPOILERS in this, specifically for episode twenty-four, "Sin", generally the entire series.

NOTES: Yes, this is a Midvalley POV fanfic. It's set in episode twenty-four. This is only my second time writing Midvalley POV, and my first writing anime version, so bear with me. The title comes from Midvalley's last words (sob), "the destiny of the dying". In the manga, Hoppered described Midvalley as a "realist", and I think that's true. He doesn't seem like he would be afraid to die. Of course, what do I know? ^^;; I threw in the bit about Midvalley sensing something "different" about Dominique, but I've always thought DxM (and DxL, for that matter) was a bit far-fetched, myself. Enjoy, I guess. Although it's kind of depressing. I hope this isn't too painful for you guys (read: Lunis).

Interesting. Gold star, that you get.

To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!
