Disclaimer: This is purely Christian Fiction. This story has angels in it, and I am not sure this is really how they act. I don't claim this is how things really are in heaven. This is just a fun way that I imagined them acting. If you have any advice about them please let me know!
That said, please enjoy I will be posting two chapters at a time! Thanks!
(apparently my character size is ginormous..please bear with me as I post these two chapters...and please don't let the size scare you! I am trying to make this story as fun as possible)
Teaser:
Darcy is an average high school girl, with problems just like everyone else. She has parents that often to busy to pay attention to her, she doesn’t make friends well, and her nonpopular status leaves her often spending time alone. One day she cries out to God to send someone that would be her friend.
God answers her prayers, and sends one of his angels, Nathaniel, as a guide. Nathaniel finds he has his work cut out for him, and living as a human won’t be easy. Will Darcy change and blossom into the flower God created her to be?
God Sent Characters: Main Characters
Darcy Calloway
Age: 17
Appearance: Shoulder length black hair, with green eyes. Not the most attractive..but not ugly either...
Height: 5'6
Accessories: Cross Necklace that her mom gave her.
Bio: Darcy is really lonely, her parents do love her, but they are constantly working to meet ends meet. All she wants is a friend.
Personality: majorly meek. She hates seeing others in trouble..but she is also really shy and it takes a lot of courage for her to say what’s on her mind. She is also very lonely and has few friends.
Nathaniel
Age: ???? (looks 18 as a human)
appearance: Humanoid angel form (Because I just don’t know what angels REALLY look like): Long blond hair, white robes and white pants. White wings.
Human: Short blond hair, bright blue eyes.
Height: 5'9
Bio: Nathaniel is an Angel, who receives an order to help Darcy. He is sent to earth as a human to help her not feel so depressed about herself. In Paradise he is in a band called “The Band of Angels.â€

The bell signaling the beginning of the school day rang, and students rushed in before the end of it’s chime. Teachers glared at the students and to their dismay, handed the disgruntled delinquents their tardy slips and sent them to their seats.
Darcy, however, was early as usual, and was one of the only students who wasn’t late. Her classmates glared at her and whispered to each other. She felt like melting into her seat and disappearing.
After a few minutes the principal walked in with the boy that Darcy saw earlier. She sat straight up and listened as he was introduced.
“This is Nathan Lyte.â€

As Nathaniel neared his next class, he felt someone grab him by the shoulders. With a cry he was slammed against the locker. His eyes widened with the shock of the pain he was feeling from his shoulders, face, and back. He hadn’t felt anything like this before. Another downside to living amongst humans. Nathaniel lifted his eyes to see the one responsible. But with his face plastered to the cold metal surface of the locker he couldn’t see much. That, and it seemed the boy was wearing some sort of mask.
