Hey guys I figured I'd best put this up.
I've been feeling rather thoughtful the past few weeks so I should update this regularly .... (I hope...)
I usually write in free verse and feel free to give feedback (both positive and things I could work on...but please be nice about it ^^)

So anyways to get this started I'll post a poem I did for school that I really enjoyed creating.
We had to find a picture online and write a poem on how the picture made us feel or what it made us think of.

A Crystalline Blue

Grace and ferocity intertwined
The tiger is in a place of wonder
No longer chased, it resides in innocence
Caught in a pallet of cool shades

Blues, violets and shining silvers
Emphasize the brilliance of this moment
Captured by the artist and his paintbrush
Who lies unseen

Butterflies with wings of gossamer white silk and lace
Quiver in the air around the magnificent beast
Unafraid, they fly in peace
Throughout the crystalline cave in which they dwell

Water flows across the jagged rocks
Creating the ultimate soundtrack to this scene
Clear as a mirror, it shimmers
As the tiger drops its paw into its shallows

With coat of silver & the color of the darkest night
The creature glances to the side, in look of prey or friend or foe
Always continuing on the journey, yet caught for a moment
In the crystalline blue

I'll just get it out in a poem...

Twilight Wanderings

I wander.
Searching hither and yon for what is beyond my reach;
I grasp at thin air, hands outstretched.
Finding not my dreams but my nightmares,
I walk onward.

I walk onward.
Onward through the dark and the light,
Into to a place where only shadow remains.
Collapsing on the cold ground I stare,
Into the twilight cold.

Into the twilight cold;
Is where my gaze rests,
Searching for a glimmer of the moon;
If only for moment of stability as these
Thoughts torment.

Thoughts torment.
Thoughts of anger, thoughts of lust,
Thoughts of love, and undying trust,
I scarcely can comprehend
How I feel.

How I feel.
To explain would be to explain
How the wind feels as it rushes onward
Pausing momentarily, yet always
Moving forward.

Moving forward.
Yet what may this future hold?
Feeling unworthy of all that is shown
I retreat;
Into the shadows.

Into the shadows.
Is where I am, in the cold.
Yet a hand breaks through the barrier,
Offering more then just temporary joy.
I hesitate.

I hesitate.
A smile is given, yet shadowed by sadness.
Two travelers wandering.
Can happiness be found?
I am unsure.

I am unsure.
For the future holds much pain;
However the outcome
May be worth it all.
So I reach out my hand.

I reach out my hand.
Not leaving my troubles;
Yet overcoming them in the twilight.
Where ever this path leads,
I will no longer be alone...

The poem carries a lot of meaning. Personaly I was captured by it.

Hey guys I'm really restless here..
but hopefully this helps... any prayers are appreciated

--Storm--

Falling faster, faster, as the storm surrounds.
I watch as I push my emotions away from the surface
Wind howling, echoing my thoughts; distorted.
I can't find what I'm looking for...
Lies have covered all my smiles with apathy
Wind and thoughts, rain and tears;

Dark clouds surround my twilight sanctuary,
Obliterating any color left.
I wonder if I'm just a fake mess of emotions
Not knowing how I really feel infuriates my heart
Screams resound across the barren landscape
An expression of feeling beyond words

Pouring rain soaks my hair;
I look to the sky, questioning all, knowing nothing.
Lightning arcs across the sky
A metaphor for the ache in my heart
Still I hold onto words, grasping at something,
A feeling indescribable...

the clock ticks.
time continues.

a frozen moment.
words that can't be said.

rain falls. sun shines.
the life moves along.

fangs bare against the pain.
the sky grows darker.

not an issue of myself
nor of another

rather, of feeling.

emotions that can't be trusted.
beyond reason and rhyme.

sky lightens.
the clock chimes.

the moments pass.
thought and melody combined.

don't consider it a promise.
don't consider it a lie.

for if feelings were as fairytales.
the fall would be long ago.

the clock spins.
time will pass again.
