My heart is fixed

Psalms 57: 7

My heart is fixed

My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.

My heart- my intellect, my mind, my reasoning

is fixed- determined, made up

O God- Almighty

I will- decision to do

sing- melodious sound

give- release from myself, not holding back

Praise-
highest attention, greatest acknowledgment, laud, exalt, lift up, (zamar - to sing, sing praise, make music)

They said I wouldn't find a way out of my situation but my mind is made up. They threatened to fire me from my Job and to take away my house but I'm determined. All I see are dark clouds all around me, the traps the devil set to make me fall but I've decided not to curdle down into depression, not to fold my hands and give up on everything but to give the Almighty his praise! I said I'm determined to give God praise. I won't hold it back when I don't understand what God is doing in my life. I won't let my emotions determine when I give him praise, "All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant" (Psalms 44:17), "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him(Job 13:15), my heart is fixed O God, my heart is fixed, I will sing praises.
You may not think much of what’s on your heart to say to others in Jesus name, but Goliath didn’t think much of the little stone in young David’s sling either, that is, before David slung it...

I want to encourage you all to know that every one of us have a story to tell of the wonders of God in our lives, every one of us has the Lords inspiration. It doesn't come by age or through intelligence, but simply from the Spirit of the Lord to which we are all joined, for he that is Joined to God is one spirit with the Lord (1Corinthians 6:17, 1Corinthians 12:13). Some one will be blessed with your words and your ministries as you let the Lord use you, freely you have recieved, freely give... (Matthew 10:8)

i like that one it goes alone with this

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

it always seems that i am coming back to this verse time and time again. i am going thru life and a imposible situation (to me) comes up. I always seem to ask God "Why is this happening to me" and there is this still small voice in the back of my head that keeps on sayind "be still and know i am in control"

boy do i feel stupid when it all works out for the best. :)
