I got a job

Postby Slater » Thu Dec 22, 2005 4:42 am

Phew... after nearly 4 years of trying to get a job, someone hired me! The manager for this new Quiznos accepted me into her staff very readily during my interview. Having a job and being able to work is a blessing; I truly am thankful to God for this moment...

Later today is orientation... I guess that means I get my uniform and they tell us what to do and how to do it. Shop opens on the 28th, so yay!

That's awesome man! I need to get a job! Maybe the Quiznos here is hiring. Well, that's cool that the Lord provided for you. He's really watching out for us.

LOL! It's always difficult on the first few days. I've worked at the grill section in a dorm's cafeteria and had to handle breakfast and lunch (and occasionally, dinner). I was pretty overwhelmed, having to learn how to make french toast, pancakes, omelettes, sandwiches, burgers and deep fried items, not to mention the varieties!

Congrats in finding this job and may God use you in this workforce for His purposes~ Stay strong, brother. :thumb:
