I remember when CAA had an arcade. And I beat some dude who challenged me in it. I think his name was Parn Mishtare or something like that? My memory is foggy these days.

I remember when CAA had just barely transferred from being a Yahoo group. djnoz was still around. There were so few threads that I looked at more than the title of new ones.

I don't think I ever used the arcade, but I remember it being around. At least, not enough to really remember.

Although I'm not really that old and haven't been here as long as you guys, I've been around this site for about 5 1/2 years, since '07. I do think I vaguely remember the CAA arcade and had some fun with that.

So who remembers the original website, after it was a newsgroup, when it was blue and it had that main character from FF8 on it? I found that website, and then got directed to this one....well, the old version of this one.

I remember the arcade. I was determined to beat the Tetris score for a while. Can't remember if that was owned by UC or Cap'n Nick. Regardless, I failed, and it disappeared.

I had the high score on either Space Invaders or that ball-game that was like a weird version of pong, can't remember which.

I remember the arcade. I felt woefully inadequate to bother playing most of them, but I think there was one I felt good with, and played it a number of times. It's funny how people expect me to be good at games because I talk about them so much.

I remember DJ Noz aka (I think?) straylight. I also remember Inkhana... And Volt. I feel like I may have had a hand at ruining his life by encouraging him to go to Full Sail, so that's not the happiest memory. OK, so maybe I"m being dramatic, but WESTWOOD for me was a huge burden because of loans and a degree that doesn't get me far. I had the benefit of having family close enough to Westwood that I could live for free. I doubt Volt had that privilege at Full Sail, so that's even more debt racked up and I don't think he ever got into the industry...

Inky...now there's a gal I miss. And Straylight, who really needs to come back. Heck, the old folks are thinner and thinner on the ground these days.

A lot of the old mods went inactive a few years ago. I can't remember if Gypsy ever came back or not but she was one of them. Some probably still lurk...maybe...
