I don't go to a dojo, I'm self taught, but Kendo is VERY fun! ^^

Actually more like Anime/Manga taught...heh...
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

I take Shinkendo. It's not competitive like normal kendo with matches and such. It's more of a technique and theory. I like it a lot, but if you really want to get into it you need to buy a shinken, and that will set you back a couple thousand.

I'm looking into iaido, hopefully I can stick with it more than I did with Tae Kwan Do and Sheri Ryu (sp?). Although I've looked into kendo, I'm not big on competitions and competitiveness in general.
To all, life thou givest, to both great and small.
In all life, thou livest, the true life of all.
We blossom and flourish as leaves on a tree
And wither and perish, but naught changeth thee.
