I really like a show on Turner South (sad to say - Southern TV, but is really good). It is called Live from the Bluebird Cafe, and basically they get songers and songwriters to come and perform acoustic sets. Sometimes they have great people, and sometimes they are songwriters that you've never heard of, but you know the songs they are singing, because they wrote them. It's cool stuff, and good to study by also.

Joan of Arcadia is pretty good also, so I don't watch it frequently. They haven't totally hacked God apart, so in that I am impressed, especially considering their ratings.

Probably the mini-series Band of Brothers

Unfortunately, not all HBO series are the same... as I found out from watching Deadwood... sounds like Eric Cartman wrote the script with all the profanity

That has to be the best show in history. Sadly it hasnt gotten onto DVD because of all the old music that they played on the show. The rights to the music are so expensive that it isnt worth it to the company who owns it to release it.

I keep forgetting WKRP. Nobody shows it anymore (probably for the same reason). It's sad that a few seconds of music can cause so much trouble.

Whoo, old topic! Ah well.

I am all about Lost. New episodes in 2 weeks!!!! I'm planning on buying the Season 1 DVD and making everyone I know watch it, so that they can hopefully understand why I'm so obsessed. The fourth episode, Walkabout was one of the greatest hours of TV that I've watched in some time. And I love the way that they mix character driven drama, humor, action, mystery, romance and sci-fi into one show

Other than that, I also watch:

Faking It
Mythbusters
Alias (though it's never been the same since Season 2)

And other stuff that's slipped my mind.

Babylon 5: Best portrayal of various religions (real or imagined) where the members actually act out of their faith. The show doesn't just use religious people (uh...aliens are people too?) as someone to "snap" or create a laugh. To think this was written by an agnostic. Well, Haibane Renmei  wasn't done by a Christian, either. God can obviously work through whomever he wants.

Favorite T.V shows that aren't anime? Hmm...I like watching the History channel, Even Stevens, those Duck Dogers cartoons, and CNN if nothing else is going on. That's all I can think of at the moment...

*Pshaw*Aside from the anime and Futurama there isn't anything much to watch
on Adult Swim.I'd rather watch Anime Unleashed if it were up against AS on
Sunday night.

Does anyone else watch Code Lyoko?
I think it has a rather interesting idea behind it that the kids can some how travel
into the computerized world physically.
