The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe

Postby perelandra » Tue Nov 30, 2004 5:48 pm

apologies if someone has already said as much...
Good news! next year a film of C.S. Lewis' The Lion, The witch and the Wardrobe is coming out, having been given all the treatment that LOTR got the benefit of.
This raises some big opportunities. Any kind of renewed interest in the works of C.S. Lewis has got to be good, and the religious allegory is bound to start discussions. Much evangelisation material.
Also, Bridget Jones' dad is in it, playing Professor Kirke.
Just thought I'd let you all know, as this should be fantastic.
God bless

Sa-weet!
I knew they would eventually. I hope it'll be worth watching because I really love the books and other movies I've seen.
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!
