Ok Ok, we had this discussion the other night, what should Mel Gibson do next if he does another Bible film?
Many people mentioned the life of Paul, Jonah or Revealation, but I was thiinking maybe also something like the creation or the story of Job. Both of those would be very powerful too. Creation becuase it woul dhave people get to see what God actually did and how He planned everything so perfectly and carefully. Job becuase people would get to see how God restores and we would learn how to trust Him more.

out of what you have mentioned i think the life of paul would be the one he would do, revelations would be incredibly hard, and jonah would be ok, but i think pauls story is the most interesting

Personally, I would like to see him follow up with material from the book of Acts and life of Paul, as that would be the natural next step after a movie about the life of Christ. Of course there would need to be a few scenes devoted to Christ's post-resurrection appearances and ascension, followed various events from the book of Acts.

Failing that, a movie about the book of Revelation and last days of John would be interesting if it was given the proper Hollywood budget.

I doubt we'll see a movie about Revelations from Mel. Most likely I think his next movie will be about the life of one of the saints.

If Mel were to make another movie based on the bible, I would want to see a movie about the life of David. (Favorite story in the bible). I would also be interested in a REALISTIC portrayel of the end times. (Left Behind doesn't count, far to mild if you ask me.)

I would like to see a film done about Saul/Paul - a tad bias, though, because it is my favorite part of The Bible.

Hehe, besides, Joseph and his colored coat has already been done by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. ;)

I think it might be interesting to see a movie based upon the Protoevangelium of James.

Yea, the Resurrection would be good! Revealations would be hard but a realsitic end times would be good, to who said that Left Behind was too mild- youre right! I still think that Job would be good, but I also like the idea of David. Hehe thatd be soo cool. :)
