OOC: Eh, no problem. Sorry for making it a big deal and stuff, though.

BIC:

Raven stumbled back against a row of boxes; so she was going to fight that way, then. Before she could make another move against the intruder, though, she spotted the crew on the ground, trying to keep up with the plane as it started moving. Had they landed? Apparently they had, for a second, at least. "Truce! Anyone!" she called out. "Help me!"

"Hold on a moment, Rav; we have a situation," shouted Truce. With a quick hop on board, they pulled Felix onto the cargo ramp. "Now hear this," he said to the rest as they carried Felix on board, "get into takeoff positions! Gabriel, we will discuss this later, but right now I need a co-pilot, so get back up in that seat before I have you thrown into the ocean!"

He checked the rest of the crew: apparently they were all there, even the new hire and that motorcycle guy who had helped them up. from what he could tell. But who was that other girl that Kevin was talking to? As he walked into the crew quarters, he stepped over a man, tied up and covered in white powder. "Who is this fellow. and why is he on my plane?" he called back, leaning down to pull a gun out of a holster on the man's belt. "Hm, would you look at that piece..." he muttered to himself, handling the huge pistol like a piece of rotting fruit. "Never mind, we've got to get up in the air, so brace up, everyone!"

Outside the porthole, he saw a band of men running towards the landing zone. This wasn't going to be pretty, but it had to work. He slid into the pilot's chair, then flicked the switches to start the engines - first the left, then the right. In a few seconds, they were making a satisfying, dissonant buzz. Perfect. Truce is in his plane, and all is right in the world... he thought. Even with the insanity this deal had caused, at least this was going well...

OOC: It's going to pick up right where we left off: the pilot's been shot, there's two people on board we have no idea where they came from, and there's people on the ground hunting for us. We can't just leave the plot on a cliffhanger like that, can we? I put in that divider so that it's clear we're all in the plane, flying to who knows where; that way, nobody gets left behind on where our characters are.

OOC: ^_^; no its my fault for not really understanding o.o; ^^ Sorry Moi~

IC: Gabriel nodded, ignoring his fear of the captain and also took the co-pilot chair, with the Captain around, he didn't feel as nervous about the whole thing. He glanced warily at Truce, wondering exactly when his Captain would chew him out for flying his plane. Gabriel tried to focus his mind elsewhere, but it was bad enough that Isabella always threw things at him, he hoped his Captain would be a little more understanding than his fiery-headed sister.

Isabella stood grumping in the Engine room, ever since they had taken off again she had been down here manning the inner workings of the machine and without Gabriel to shout orders at, she was feeling frustrated, more than usual. After all, there was no way for her to help anyone on the plane.

She shoved her dark hair from her face and stomped around the engine room, tightening cogs and fixing things that didn't need fixing. Worry etched into her face, 'Now that we're away, I wonder when the Captain will start explaining what happened.'

Denkou whirled around to face Kevin. She was panting from the clash with Raven, and had gotten a cut on her shoulder which was bleeding. She just looked at him for a few minutes. Why's he talking to me like that? she wondered. Then she remembered she was still in a fight and turned back to where Raven was.

Nia had taken up her station, having put Felix onto the nearest bunk there was. She had quickly wrapped something around the apparent nicked artery, hoping to quell the bleeding a bit. With any luck.... This wasn't the time to think about it. She gazed over her map of island paths and magnetic waves. "There's a magnetic flux due about three degrees North- Northwest of here. If we can get past in the next 5 minues, they'll either get caught or have to break around it. Can we do that?"

She waited for affirmation, plotting three other alternate routes if it was found unsatisfactory. That might very well be the case, soncidering that Felix was out. She had faith that he'd be able to do it. But with anyone else piloting...

Once again, she cursed herself for letting Felix get hurt so badly. It was one of the worst things that she could let happen to a crewmate. Of course, it had also been partially his foolishness- who was dumb enough to run in front of guns, even if they thought they'd be saving another?!- but it didn't assuage her feelings in any way. Nia would apologize to him the moment he was awake.

JP continued to tinker with his motorcycle to pass the time. The crew were actually nicer than what he had expected and after helping their injured crew member up onto the plane, he was also allowed on with his bike. Yet he knew that they really wouldn't trust him all that quickly, he hadn't spoken all that much either. Well he had to explain and to him it just didn't feel right geting a free ride for absolutely no good reason, once he could talk to the captain, JP figured he will pay for the trip whilst explaining a few things he obviously had to. Truce was the name of the captain right?

Turning his attention back to his bike, he stood back for a moment to look at it. Something just felt off, it had been bothering him for the whole past week yet it ran smoothly so what was the issue? Juan remembered when he had just bought the bike, it was so wrecked that he almost got it for free. JP was forced to change everything on it, engine, suspension, tires, the seat, heh even the handle grips, it was like his own little creation, or modification or whatever was the right word he was looking for, he was proud of his bike yet it could still be improved, it could always be improved.

Taking a glance around the ship, JP was actually pretty impressed. He had no idea why but just everything had been better than what he expected, were his expectations really that low? Looking back at his bike, he decided he needed some tools, tinkering with just your hands could only take you so far and unfortunately JP forgot to pack his own. How he forgot them was just completely beyond him.

Walking around the ship, JP wondered who it would be best to ask to borrow tools from. He had no idea who anybody was and vice-versa, no one knew who he was. Though it wasn't like he was anyone special. Briefly feeling over his leather armband underneath his jacket, he mentally recited the words etched on there before he found himself at the entrance of the engine room.

JP found himself watching a dark haired woman stomp arond with a wrench in her hands, tightening cogs and basically fixing what needed to be fixed. She was quite pretty too, JP Had the distinct feeling he had just fell in love. Trying his best to shake away those thoughts, he cleared his throat. "Um.. Excuse me, I was wondering if you could please lend me some tools for my bike?"

"What are you doing, Kevin?!" hissed Raven, her sword wavering warily at Denkou. "This girl snuck in the plane when we weren't looking! We can't trust her, someone else was there with her and she attacked me and they're trying to take over the plane and we don't know where she's been!" she frothed, breathlessly. "If you think I'm just going to roll over and trust her because I know her name now, you're, you're... I don't know what to say! You're some gang guy, right, Kevin? You of all people should know about that stuff, betrayal and...I don't know. If she ends up blowing up the plane, I'm holding you personally responsible."

She glared at Denkou. "Welcome to the Tiamat, by the way. Stowaway."

Truce swallowed hard - flying into a magnetic anomaly? Things could get unpleasant, with all the magnetic objects on the plane bouncing around and all, but he didn't have any better ideas. "Acknowledged," he called down to Nia. "You heard her, Gabriel, set heading to, ah, three-three-eight, and I'll add some more throttle, is that clear?" tension marbling his voice. He still had to go see how badly Gabe had messed up the undercarriage - that landing was rather rough.

He gripped the controls, staring blankly into the pale brown sky. A couple thousand feet below them, the factories of Treyard churned, their assembly lines stamping out parts and driving them into huge planes that would carry them around the world. None of that mattered to Truce at the moment, now that he had a mess to clean up...

Isabella had been so distracted by her frustration and work that when an unknown voice spoke from behind, so startled was she that she even let out a tiny squeak and flung the wrench out of instinct. Immediately she realized, he wasn't a foe and blinked. Who was that? She composed herself, trying to cover up the fact that she had been startled, of course she hadn't hit JP with the wrench it had just banged against the wall.

"What?" she asked, putting her hands on her hips. "Tools?" she stood still. "What sort? Do you know?" Isabella asked, her eyes weren't quite so narrowed anymore, was this guy also a mechanic? The captain must have picked him up. She thought. "And what's the big idea spooking me like that?" she demanded crossing her arms.

Gabriel gulped, the Captain's voice did nothing to comfort his already fraying nerves. "Aye Captain." he set in what Truce had ordered while keeping one hand on the steering. He took a deep breath, he had to take it easy. His calming personality settled over him like a woolly blanket and his whole body-relaxed as he leaned gently back into the seat.

His comfort returning, and his mind clear, Gabriel felt better about the whole situation. Whatever the Captain said, he would take it in stride.

JP flinched back slightly and instinctively as Isabella swung her wrench in his general direction. He had not been expecting that. At all. Eyes widening and returning to normal size, Juan lifted up his hands to show thqt he was no threat. Shocked would be one way to describe how he was feeling, not exactly the most desirable of first encounters.

Slowly lowering his hands as Isabella spoke, he gave a somewhat nervous smile before relaxing and calming himself. It was probably just out of instinct, not that she actually wanted to hit him... He hoped. "S-sorry I didn't mean to, just that well I arrived and you were fixing on things so you just didn't notice me walk in." JP tried to explain. Explanations were not his forte but he didn't want her to get the wrong idea about him, the fact that she was pretty and had a wrench and obviously wasn't afraid to use it helping him with his conviction.

"I just needed a fork cap wrench, ratchet wrench and a flywheel puller if you have one." His list was actually a little longer but JP didn't want to push his luck. A near death experience had probably ran out his luck for the day. "And I'm JP by the way."

Isabella's eyebrow quirked as she listened to his explanation. She mouth tried to twitch into a smile, but she refused to let it smile. "I see." she sighed and walked over to the tool-box, it held all her special things and the things he mentioned were definitely special.

"JP?" she glanced over her shoulder, her twin-colored eyes searching him over, "What does that stand for?" she threw something over her shoulder and grumbled while searching, muttering about a screw and dumb monkey-wrenches. She wasn't used to having people she didn't know in her engine room and it threw her off a bit, especially considering she didn't even know who he was aside from his apparent nickname, which was odd. 'What sort of name is JP anyway?' she thought, as a particular item dropped on her foot, making her yelp.

"Aaaagggh..." she shook her foot, annoyed. "Stupid piece of-"

Denkou raised an eyebrow at Raven. She really hadn't been expecting that. She had been expecting another rain of crazy blows from her. Looks like I'm ok for now... She thought. "How Ironic that you now know my name, but you didn't use it." she said sarcasticly, twirling one of her katanas.

Scratching the back of his head, JP tried to figure out what else he should say if anything else at all. Things were not going as had expected them to at all and he got the distinct feeling that most of what he was saying was just an annoyance for her, he didn't even know her name also.

As she looked back at him to question his nickname, JP felt enchanted by her eyes. He hadn't realized that they were different shades until he had a better look of them and he was fascinated. "Juan Pierre. I kinda had trouble with people not being able to pronounce my name properly in the past so it kinda just got shortened to JP to make it easier for others." He explained. JP hadn't used his real name in so long that it actually felt strange when he said it after so long. It wasn't that he didn't like his name, abbreviating it made it so much easier.

JP's face instantly turned to a genuine expression of concern as Isabella yelped and a relatively loud clank sounded. "Are you alright?" JP called out to her before she could finish the sentence, taking a step forward. Though he had just met her, he was still concerned for her wellbeing. He knew full well how painful it could be when any tool really, fell and landed on your foot. He was sure it happened to all mechanics many times.

Isabella bit her bottom lip in pain and looked over at JP, "I'm fine." she managed to grind out. "Just a slip of the hand. That's all." She sat down on her metal work-bench and yanked off her thick leather boot, which for some reason, hadn't stopped the immense pain that now spiked through her foot.

"Blasted useless shoes." she muttered, examining her socked foot. "At least its not broken." Isabella sighed and slipped her boot back on. "Juan Pierre, eh?" she looked up at him, "that's not hard to pronounce at all." She wondered why it was, people seemed to always have a problem pronouncing names that were quite simple, of course, if you factor in that everyone is different it made sense. Isabella snorted. "Well, I'm Isabella De Luca." She stood and held out her gloved hand, "nice to meet you, I've found the tools you asked for..." she paused, "but was momentarily distracted."

She shook her head, "the extras I keep for this ship get to be ridiculous and then I end up forgetting about them all together...thus dropping them on my foot." Isabella's eyes suddenly became curious.

"New to the crew? Captain must've just picked you up."

Adele hastily un-buckled her seat belt and threw it off her. She clenched her fists in anger and marched up to the cockpit.

"Captain Truce!!!" She shouted as she stomped up and slammed her hand down on the back of his seat. She then came around to the side where they could see eye to eye. "You have some explaining to do!" she said fiercely. Her lips were pursed in absolute rage. "What happened back there?! Huh?!! Because I thought we agreed we were going to follow the deal to a T!!!!" She screamed as her pale cheeks flushed in anger.

"Fine, Denkou," she said, drawing out the name. "Welcome aboard the Tiamat, Denkou, you stowaway. Just wait 'till the captain finds out you're here! But until then, let's just be friends and forget this ever happened." She sheathed her sword, and then stretched out her hand, a fake smile stretching across her face. "He's probably going to throw you out of the plane. In midair. Enjoy your stay!"

There was an awkward silence between Gabe and Truce in the cockpit. "Listen, Gabriel, I know that I've been hard on you over flying the plane, but...you did well and I want to-" Adele burst into the cockpit, furious beyond anything he had ever seen of her.

Truce managed to get his side of the story in. "But, but Adele, I did follow the deal, and it succeeded, exactly as I had planned! It went according to my plan, and if I had told you about it, you wouldn't have liked it, and would probably have irrevocably broken it, and THEN where would we be?"

"Look, I didn't know that they would come us with guns, and I certainly didn't know that they would hit our pilot, or that you'd get caught or that we would have to be fleeing with our lives. I'm sorry. It won't happen again, so if you don't mind, I have to fly out of this mess. We can deal with this later, but right now, just let us do that, all right?" He checked his clock - two minutes had passed, but they hadn't reached the flux yet. Based on how they had sped up, he was sure they'd be hitting it any minute now, and when that happened...

Denkou knew a fake smile when she saw one. Her Dad always smiled like that whenever he was talking about her. She metally pushed the memories away. That was then, and this was now. Denkou sheathed both of her swords, but didn't take Raven's hand.

"He's not so bad, once you get to know him. Hm, maybe if you get a job on the ship, he won't feel so bad." Kevin said, stroking his chin. "How 'bout it? You willing to work hard?" For some reason, he felt like this girl's big brother.

Denkou didn't answer for a moment. She really didn't like working, unless if it was for her own benefit. That's how it was for her and other castaways. But on the other hand, she didn't care to be thrown off the plane, whatever this guy said. "What type of work?" she finally asked.

"Hey, you're that guy with the cycle right?," said Marshal interrupting the two lovebirds. He smirked a little as he said it. "Need some help to tune 'er up? I've always wanted to learn a bit about mechanics. Sounds like you've already met one of the engineers...Nice to meet you Isabella", he said as he left out his hand intending to shake.

"Wait, wait!" called Truce. "Oh, for... Here, Gavin, take the pilot's chair. By the way, we're flying into a magnetic storm, so stay calm, good luck, and Godspeed. Adele!" He climbed down the ladder and into the crew's quarters.

"Listen, like I said, I am sorry! I didn't know about any of that down there, believe me. If I had, I would have never tried what I did. Come now, here's your share of the earnings," he said, pulling his wallet from his jacket. Luckily, the bullet hole it had received had missed his money pocket. He counted off a few bills from the stack and passed them over to Adele. "Three hundred drachmae, to spend any way you like! You would have only received two-fifty had I not intervened; we can get that part Isabella needed, even!"

"Please forgive me for what happened; I can assure you it will not happen again; this I swear." He took a deep breath, cautiously waiting her response.

Raven glared at Kevin. "Could I talk with you for a moment?" She pulled him to one side, giving him a death glare.

"What do you think you're doing?!" she snapped. "You're making a decision for Truc- I mean, the captain when he's gone, and you're breaking the chain of command, and we still don't know what she's here for, and what gives you the right to overrule him? The captain saved me, when I was half-dead and wandering the streets, not knowing where I had come from. He gave me everything, but for all I know, you could be taking all that away from me by letting that...that girl on here!" She was on the verge of tears as she raged, barely stopping to breathe.
