I don't have the game, but are the halo books worth reading? ?
:thumbsdow ?
(I'd like to read the books if 'they' really make a Halo movie)

They're quite good....the first one had some spelling errors in it, and I've never read the one that's a direct adaptation of Halo, but the prequel and the sequel are quite good.

They're your standard sci-fi novel. Better reads are Timothy Zahn's Star Wars books and Jack McKinney's Robotech novelizations.

Zahn:
Heir to the Empire
Dark Force Rising
Last Command
Specter of the Past
Vision of the Future
Outbound Flight
Survivor's Quest
Allegiance

McKinney:

If you are into Halo's storyline and all the quirks and unanswered questions, it's a good read. Will leave you speculating for hours.

As a halo nut i loved what i read. But not being a halo nut yourself you still might enjoy them.
