Martial arts section

Postby Wise Dragon » Sun Nov 13, 2005 3:36 pm

Well Ive been noticing that there have been a lot of threads lately pertaining to the matial arts. Just a thought but maybee we could look into maybee one day having a section for it.

Since its strongly connected to the jappaneise culture it would fit in with the rest of the site. I don't know if there would be enough people to support it or not; but like i said its a suggestion.

I think this would classify as a sports section idea--maybe you can just start a thread about Martial Arts in general, or any specific ones you are interested in? The problem would seem to be, I'd think, that plenty of people here like football, or soccer, or a number of other sports, but we can't grant them ALL a seperate board since that would make the entire system bulky and unweildy. I think this is a nice idea, but for the moment I'm hesitant to say yes.

We used to have more distinct forums, but merged several into the "General Entertainment" forum that now exists. While there was interest in these things, we decided they were only corrolary to the main purpose of our site. I say this only as a partial explanation.
