Actually, I find that the "new" posts expire far too quickly for me (somehow I've never had this problem with the Looking Glass or Tycoon Planet forums, but I don't know what they use for their software).

I've taken to opening up all the pages at once when I do a "get new" so that I have the correct links for each new message, but I've found that the next day I'll have missed whole posts and such. Am I making any sense?

In light of the smilie, I understand what you're saying. Yet that statement reminds me of a lot of people I know, if you know what I mean.
