I would love to vote, but shouldn't we acknowledge what are we going to vote on. what are other awards going out besides those?

I vote we vote on what votes will be voted on.
Er, at the very least I vote we have a list of awards to vote on. Shold we submit the categories to you by PM too, or should we just give you names, an YOU can find the categories. Ug. Need Caffiene. This is giving me a headach.

categories would be best, and if possible, the category and the nominee.
I.e.
"Dear Ash,
My category idea was for the best brit award, and I nominate Noz, Gypsy, and Eirewolf."

I vote that Ashley determines all the categories and if you don't like it, tough. Then we'll actually get to do the vote sooner rather than later

I'd nominate myeslf for Best Rantings, but that's just ranty.
Or maybe Most Knowledgeable of Questionable Anime, but then again, that's just *wrong*...
Lol, j/k j/k!
I can't wait to vote later!! ^^

well now...there's something I didn't think of
Either way, we're gonna wait til the Nozinator comes back from his con, so it won't hurt to throw some suggestions out there. Whether they make the cut or not...mwahahahaha.

Sounds like a good idea, as long as we keep it fun (rather than actually making it competitive). I'll certainly cast my vote. I think the only thing I could've gotten nominated for was Most Posts Without Bothering to get an Avatar, but now that I've gotten one (around post 90), I'm no longer eligible for that one.

Actually, it's phrased so that it still applies to you, just your record is now a set number. I say we do it, because I'm a useless facts junkie.
Also, I cast my vote. On what? It doesn't matter. But it is cast. Many times.

I think I deserve "Coolest Nicest Jiant Monkey Award who is really cool and nice and stuff."
Admit it, there's nobody else who really kwalifies (better?
) for that one.

Maybe you're more suited for "Least Best Speller"...c'mon Spence, "jiant" and "qulaifies" in the same post? J/k

If you refer to the CAA Play thread, I have clearly stated that "jiant" is a word, since "giant" does not come near my enormassity (another made up one, but it's legal)

I nominate Shoobie as 'Most likely to post from either a Comodor 64 or the ER.' (Maybe even, 'most likely to post from a comodor IN the ER.')

This is a bit off topic, but OldPhilly reminded me...hey Shoobster, you like the tv show ER? My history teacher looks SO MUCH LIKE Dr. Mark Greene it's unreal. Anyway, mom (y'know, the nurse) was addicted to that show (she worked ER for like, 10+ years), and loved to try and give George Clooney medical orders, much to my chagrin.
Mom> 5o MG OF ZYDICOR, STAT!
Ash> mom, you know he really isn't a doctor and he can't really hear you
Mom> I SAID STAT PEOPLE!
Btw, why do you still hang on to that ancient technology O Elder?

Man, it's gotta be you, Spence. I can't think of anyone who changed as much except maybe Kirika, I think. (was it Kirika?)

I'm ambivalent. I hardly ever watch it anyway (mostly because I get plenty of that kind of thing at work, without the pathos
). My parents are addicts for some reason.
> Btw, why do you still hang on to that ancient technology O Elder?
#1 It works
#2 It's easy to program
#3 You can truly know exactly what this class of computers is doing with every byte you stick in them -- their OSes are simple and well defined
#4 Graphics and sound are inferior, which is actually a plus: games are judged on how fun they are to play, and how well put together they are, and prettiness and frills are secondary (but you can do nice graphics and sound with them with a little cleverness)
#5 Cheap hobby (unless I'm importing a rarer unit) -- and it's certainly cheaper than anime
#6 Conversation starter at parties, social gatherings, bus stops, subway stations, and Internet-based anime bulletin boards with Christian affiliation

10 years ago, I would have said that it was all I had to work with at the time--despite the fact that it was second-hand and had a faulty power connector. But other than that, I agree that the C-64 rocks. ^_^

But you know, for well defined OSs, you just can't beat the TI-86.
OH, and I'll be sure to spell it right next time.
Camordan.
Comidoon.
Cameralle.
OH. Commodore. You got it Saridoon!

I think shiroi might have a shot at the multiple avatars things. Though she'd had this one for a while, I believe.
