So it's a one-page thing?
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share

And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence.

It does sound cool... if I improve drastically over the next few months, I might think about entering ;) It definitely has my support though!

Edit: hehehe do you like my submission? :P It's completely original......

Well since you have fantastic drawing skills, Shao, it would be a crying shame if you didn't enter because of that. Maybe draw the manga up and then see if a friend or something can let you scan them in.

Very original Talame! (lol) I'm sure you won't have to worry about Mave's lawyers bringing you down or anything like that.

Oh, I forgot to mention that all entries would be invited to be hosted at CM.com, regardless of their status in the actual contest, if the authors so allow.

Must the manga be finished if its part of a series or if it has multiple parts?

Inches.. *argh* *google it*

5 inches = 12.7 centimeters
7,5 inches = 19,05 centimeters

and what does it mean when you say "no larger than 5 inches by 7.5"?
like 5x7,5? :?:

We in our weakness believed we were strong

Um...*whistles for Inkhana*

and what does it mean when you say "no larger than 5 inches by 7.5"?

5 by 7.5 is (what I'm told) standard size for manga pages. It just means your entry shouldn't be any larger than this.

but what does it mean - is it 5 height and 7,5 width? - never head the "x by y" thing before...

*feels stupid*

edit: took my time and googled that too :thumb:

[color=DarkGreen]It can be part of a bigger series if it makes sense all by itself and is self-contained. (like, mini stories or sub stories to a larger plot...Mave's "Home" is a good example) Otherwise it could get really confusing to readers...^^]

How should it be? One folder, containing subfolders and each subfolder contains chapter?

Doesn't matter, as long as it makes sense. :) I doubt any reorganization will be needed, but if it's necessary, I'll do it on my end.

0_0 Lucky Talame, I don't even have enough money to feed myself, much less hire a lawyer.

Interesting, I've never thought of the page size since I've always relied on the size of standard A4 papers for all my manga work. XD

This looks like fun; I'll join in if I find the time.

Nah, there's no form or anything. Just send it to me and if we need more info, we'll let you know. :)

No need, email works great for this kind of stuff.

What is Dpi?

DPI = dots per inch. When you scan your entry (if applicable) set your scanner options for 300dpi and it should be just fine.

Is DPI also the same as Pixels per inch? and is 300 DPI big?

 It's ok, I remember when I didn't know what it meant either. ;)

That would be basically the same thing. It's pretty good size, but that's all right. ^^ There should be enough room in my inbox to handle it.

Yes, that's the resolution. It can be smaller if you want it to be, but it should still be 5 x 7.5" in page size. If you save it as a JPG file, it should be just fine sizewise.
