Dude, your webcomic is SO darn funny! I've only been to one convention, and I'm still laughing my socks off at these clever things you write. XD!

Your webcomics are a good laugh. I like Far Out There too. I think I would go to a con but anime is not very popular around here.

Yeah, it's not really a con until you see at least one hairy dude in a VERY ill-advised costume.

She was dressed up as a zombie...I think. O_<! yeeeeaaaahhhh.....tis' was creepy, but possibly not as creepy as seeing the hairy gorrila dude in an...interesting outfit. DX!

those are the kind of things which actually make me ambivalent about going to a con...XD

however, i will read this comic as long as i am able. because it rocks. and i live most of my life vicariously anyway XD

Well, it took several VERY sleepless nights, but I finally have Conventional Wisdom's Anime USA 2010 coverage finished and online!

Oh, and as you can see, I've also got all of CW on Smack Jeeves as well as DrunkDuck. I'll be updating on both sites for the foreseeable future, so just pick the one you like better! :D

Now that it's all drawn and online, I FINALLY can start recovering.

(except that I also need to get a page of Far Out There done tonight. IT NEVER ENDS!)

Hey Blitzkrieg, I'm glad someone else went to Animazement this year! What did you cosplay as?

Oh cool, I just read your comics. They were great as usual!

Did you go to Anime Hell? I could swear that's where I remember the wave comic from.

Oh and the Dealer's room, YES! I was doing so well on money till I came to the dealer's room. NO ESCAPE!!! XDDD

I actually didn't make it to Anime Hell, the "wave" bit happened at Cosplay Chess (though I can totally see something similar happening at Hell, now that you mention it)

Anyway, glad you liked it! :D

Yeah, sorry it got up so late. I'm actually amazed I was able to get everything online while it was still TECHNICALLY Wednesday (what with the whole late bus back to DC and all)

*looks around*

You didn't see this double post. It didn't happen.

But you DID see CONVENTIONAL WISDOM'S OTAKON 2011 COMICS!!!

Please enjoy the record of what was possibly one of the most hectic, exhausting cons I've been to... which I KIND of mean in a good way.

Heheh.

7, 13, and 16 are the best, IMO.

It really was surprising that the though never occurred before. The similarities are all quite valid!

I like the series of 'Otakon Outtakes' you're doing.
They're better than the filler in my opinion.

Might be better to call them 'deleted scenes' though.

Keep up the good work.

Well, I feel slightly like a jerk for not noticing your post sooner. Sorry!

Yeah, I liked the extra convention-related comics too, especially since I got them all drawn in one blast and didn't have to work on anything new for a month :D

Sadly, it's rare for me to have enough unused material to do a whole stretch of outtakes like that. After all, most of the good stuff ends up in the actually con updates if I can help it.
