As far as being blasphemous, though, Berserk is essentially based on a pure evil cosmology. Ignoring the Idea of Evil and the Godhand, the world is essentially godless.
it's basically the arc involving the reuniting of Caska and Gutts. the arc introduces several prostitutes who befriend and protect Caska (as her memory has not yet returned). the arc involves the pagan witch hunts where that one evil priest named Mozgus kills unfaithful criminals with harsh and painful torture devices. he ends up almost killing Caska and Gutts fights him in order to save her.
anyways, i just read volume 22 and...
griffith is back!!!!!!!!!
it should be interesting to see what Farneze, and that other guy with squinty eyes, end up doing. and with the start of the next arc, things should start to get really interesting. i still want to see Gutts and the squinty eyed guy face off again.
that last fight with them was pretty intense. the squinty eyed guy is pretty cool
- Mark Driscoll
"Believers do not pray with the view of informing God about things unknown to Him, or of exciting Him to do His duty, or of urging Him as though He were reluctant. On the contrary, they pray in order that they may arouse themselves to seek Him, that they may exercise their faith in meditating on His promises, that they may relieve themselves from their anxieties by pouring them into His bosom; in a word, that they may declare that from Him alone they hope and expect, both for themselves and for others, all good things."
- Martin Luther
