my christian thoughts? :O

Ok so, Ive done *quite* a lot of thinking on this DTS I'm on in England. and I've come to some major conclusions not only for my physical life, but my spiritual life as well. It makes me happy that I've almost figured these things out at such a young age.

It is possible to have answers when you are still young. XP

Well, what i've sort of realized on this DTS is that I feel that I know why we are here on Earth. Yeah, I know, HUGE question that needs a HUGE answer. People have searched for this answer for ages. there are soo many songs about it, blah blah blah yeah yeah I know. At least for *me*, i feel as if I might have it figured out. I'm not saying I totally do, but I feel as if I have it somewhat. Anyway, back to the answer. I feel that, well, the reason we are here, on Earth, the reason why we exist- is to glorify God and to show others who don't know Him His love. basically. I feel that we are here to bring glory to Him. And because the world is a fallen place, We are also here to spread the love and grace of God to those who are searching, to those who are hurt and who are in pain, for those who are angry, for those who are broken, for those who are downtrodden, for those who are helpless and hopeless. For everyone who does not know him. We are here to show that He wants to know them so much. He wants to see them with Him. He hurts and cries when He sees them in so much pain. We are here to show God. We are here to bring a light to a spiritually dark world.

Another thing I've realized is our role as christians. We should do what I said above, but also, we are here to show love. We are here to show God's grace, love, life, truth, etc etc. We are not here to condemn. We are not here to judge others. We are here just to plain and simply love. WE are supposed to mirror Jesus as best as we can. I'm not saying that we have to be perfect, no man is perfect- especially in a fallen world. But that doesn't mean we aren't supposed to try. In the Bible, Jesus hung out with everyone- even the worst of the people in that age. He hung out with the lepers and the tax collectors, the thieves and the killers. He did not judge or condemn, instead he just loved. He genuinely loved them for who they were. He never condemned. He never said a hurtful word to them. When he did bring up their sins, he only brought it up in a way a friend would say to another- because they truly cared about them and did not want to see them in pain. He brought it up for the good of their soul and their life. If that was now, Jesus would be with the murders and the rapists, the AIDS patients and the politicians. He would be with the hurt and the broken. He wouldn't shun. We should follow His example. I still fail to see why so many christians still judge and condemn and hurt. That is not how Jesus would do it. No.
There is a verse in the bible, I believe it was Luke? I'm not sure. Don't quote me on it. But in this part, Jesus was with a crowd of people, and then a leper came along to Jesus. Now, back then, lepers were the pure dirt of the society. No one dared to go near them EVER, and they were cast out of society. They were disgusting, horrible, pitiful people- at least that's what the people saw. Anyway, this leper came up to Jesus who was with the crowd of people. In my head- I imagine that this crowd would just freak out and start backing away, trying to get away from this one person. But here is Jesus, and he just walks forwards to this man. "And a leper came to Jesus, beseeching Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.â€
