Kefka - Wishes to destroy everything.
Kuja - Actually almost does destroy everything. And blows up a planet. Just for good measure.
Etoh*the*Greato wrote:Kuja had more class than kefka. Looked better too. I'll take creepily effeminate over clown makeup any day. Though I will say that playing through FF6 again has made me realize I want to beat down Kefka more than I have any other FF baddy. Except maybe Seymour. That man was like a cockroach!
Kuja earns points for his witty banter.
I think that Kefka achieved his original goals. From what I remember, Kefka wanted power, and obtained it. Kefka wanted to rule the world, and he did. It was only as he was on the brink of death that he decided to destroy everything.
Whereas Kuja wanted to destroy the everything from the beginning. He failed at this. So he never met his original goals.
I could be remembering incorrectly, though. If I am, that will be a good excuse to play both games again.
Regardless, I am extremely tempted to buy a PSP right now. I'd be able to play all of these games.
Mr. SmartyPants wrote:
Aside from what Ikimasu said, Kefka also did succeed in destroying a lot of things, just not everything. He pretty much left the whole world in Ruin. Hence the name "The World of Ruin". That and Kefka is actually insane, and is a more appropriate "Megalomaniac". Kuja doesn't look like one XD Kuja looks more like a pretty-boy XD
ikimasu wrote:I was browsing a gaming forum that I frequent, and found out the following:
There will be 10 main characters (FF heroes only, FF villains aren't counted)
I thin it's also safe to assume that this doesn't count unlockable characters. Some games, like SSBM have more unlockable characters than starters. I hope that is the case here.
(As with any forum information, take this with a healthy helping of skepticism. The only reason I bothered posting this here is because the information found at this forum is true more often than not)
Could Tidus and Vaan even manage to injure each other?

Horray!
Destroying pillars and other objects builds up your character's "Brave" meter, which gives you access to new attacks.
