Well, in between volumes I went biking, did errands, finished household tasks, and ate. But yeah, pretty much. When I get a bit of free time I can blaze through a series fairly quickly.

Now the issue at hand: 21st Century Boys. Where be the translations? All I have is chapter one, and I'd like to see some more resolution for loose ends and character plots.

21st Century Boys is slated to wrap up the series by the next (16th) chapter. RAWs have been available routinely thanks to certain sites, but translates scans have yet to be written. The general assumption is that the groups still translating the series do so in volume incriments, so you'll need to wait till 21CB is "Collected."

I'm reading Koukou Debut, and I'm in love. This manga is so nice and fuzzy.

I read the first chapter, and I am not in love. No need to elaborate, though.

Ah, I see. It is really a shame that many good series don't have the popularity (and hence speedy translation) of the big shonen titles. But I can wait.

Personally, I prefer Monster over 20CB. The plot isn't as elaborate (hence not as fun in some senses), but I think the issues it will raise in later volumes give it more lasting value.

I think the opposite can be said for me. Monster grabbed my attention much faster than 20th Century Boys. However I did finish Monster before I even started 20th CB, so that could simply be why. I'm also going to have to side with UC on this one. I find Monster to be slightly more enjoyable.

Basara Volumes 16 and 17

The lead characters finally find out the other is their mortal enemy. I can't decide if I like how this and the aftermath was handled. What will determine my opinion is likely to be how this affects relationship dynamics, which may confirm what I thought was done well or just irritate me more. As of right now, I don't know if I think this is well-handled or if it makes me want to punch kittens.

Air Gear - Up to 159

It's entertaining, although not exceptional. Some of the dialogue is rather awkward...

I just finished the fan made adaptation of Voices of a Distant Star. I liked it quite a bit. Although I liked the original film more, but it was still nice.

I'm following this as well. My opinion is essentially the same as yours overall. It is good to see Spitfire do... well, anything. He's just been mysterious for most of the series. I'm betting this will be his last/only fight.

Monster vol. 2. I bought vol. 1-5 at the Otakon merch room, but I accidentally bought 2 copies of vol. 3. I also bought some (non-pornographic) doujinshi but it seems it's all in Japanese.
