Saw Shaun of the Dead the other day, since it's the same guys that did Hot Fuzz and I have a feeling I'll end up watching that soon since I heard good things about it. Horror comedies... pretty neat^^

I recently watched The Godfather trilogy; I tend to watch it every few years. It's an excellent series of movies. Heavy, but very good.

i watched the Bourne Ultimatum two days ago. fast-paced. non-stop action. clever scenes. strong lead actors. a near-perfect movie with a very shaky camera. but nonetheless, near-perfect...an excellent movie.

Rewatched 300 the other day... one of the few movies that when I watch it, it feels like it's only half an hour long rather than 2+ hrs or whatever it is, because of such a fine story, action, camera shots etc etc, it never ceases to lose my attention^^

The other day someone was watching 300 when I got home, so I watched the end of it. Yesterday they were watching Hot Fuzz when I got home so I got to watch most of it. Yesterday I went with my family to Bourne Ultimatum. Twas good.

Men in Black II. I found myself enjoying it more than the first one, actually. More psychological struggles with the characters and stuff like that. And with every Will Smith movie I see, the more I like him.
You can find out things about the past that you never knew. And from what you've learned, you may see some things differently in the present. You're the one that changes. Not the past.

Oliver Twist. Great adaptation of the book, even if they took out a couple parts. I especially like the portrayals of Oliver and Fagin. Exactly the way I imagined them when reading the book.
And I'm in the process of watching Sixth Sense...again. I've lost track of how many times I've seen that movie. Hooray for M. Night Shyamalan!

Wild Hogs a few nights ago (great movie^^ I see why it's as good as people say^^)
Simpsons movie last night (ah yes, it did stay true to the old material^^ Very well done, writers!)
300 for the third time today, and this time on BLU RAY (and WOW you DO notice the difference! From skin textures/hairs/sweat, all that fine detail is clearly seen from the couch... amazing quality for an amazing movie^^)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Much, much better than the previous HP movies (that's not saying too much, though...). Daniel Radcliffe finally seems to know how to act, and portrayed Harry very well in this movie (about time, I'd say). Though the movie felt a little rushed at some points, it also felt as though the times it cut to a new scene, it was possible for the things cut out to be going on in the background. This was also the first HP movie I've seen where I liked the music.
Much, much better than the previous HP movies (that's not saying too much, though...). Concerning HP movies, methinks they should've done something LotR style, and make extended versions on DVDs^^ Now THAT would be nice! I was so mad... because [spoiler] St Mungos was nowhere to be seen and took up 2 whoel chapters even! [/spoiler]

I agree. [spoiler]I thought the way they revealed what happened to Neville's parents was rather weak and a little random; it would have been much smoother if they'd just kept it the way it was in the book.[/spoiler]

Oddly enough, the only part of that movie that got me emotional was when a priest was reading from Revelation, "And he shall wipe every tear from their eyes...."
