Favorite Naruto Manga Character

Hey, I love the Naruto Manga, I read it in Shonen Jump and own one graphic novel, and I was wondering who you all like the most. I really like kakashi and sasuke, but I can't decide who's cooler. :sweat:

I think Kakashi is the coolest, especially how he slants his Hitae-ate.

Plus he's just bad all around!

Naruto for being cheerful, and Gaara because he's just cool. But don't look up the latter unless you want spoilers.

In my personal opinion, Sasuke is cool, but overrated.

I'm afraid I can't answer that question properly. There are many characters in Naruto whom I love and greatly admire for different reasons. I must say this occurrence doesn't come by very often. ^^

Bet my list will change as the series progresses....

After reading Manga Vol 1 and 2: Kakashi, Iruka. Also like Shikamaru and Tsunade. (gah, i knew there was no point posting this!)

I didn't like Naruto at first but as I gain a better understanding of him, I might start respecting him.

I hate to be typical and go with Kakashi, but I might have to. Sasuke was my favorite character until the more recent episodes, during which I became disennamored with him. But of other characters, they would be, in this order:
1) Shino
2) Hinata
3) Anko
4) Shikamaru

3 and 4 are variable.

Yet another Kakashi fan am I. I have no other favorites in Naruto, really. It's all Kakashi for me. He's super cool!

Kakashi all the way! He is just so cool, I love him so much! *Is glad to see so many other Kakashi fans around*

I also like Shikamaru, Gaara, Jirayia and Tsunade. They are all so cool...

In fact, I think the only person I REALLY hate in Naruto is Orochimaru...

Actually, I like Orochimaru quite a bit. At times he looks cool, then others not in the slightest. But ah well. He can't hold a candle to his right hand man anyway. Of villains, Kabuto has my vote hands down.

Orochimaru is cool, I agree, but he scares me when he goes all snakey. Kabuto...yeah, he's smart, he's strong, he always knows what he's doing... He's cool, though not exactly my favorite.

Naruto Because he's so persevering. And hes kinda of a perv ( which is funny to me)

On a related note, did you see him while he was Sangoku's avatar? Real villains wear glasses! I found it amusing.

Also, I like the character design for the one female member of the Sound's Four (Five, technically), though I don't like her.

Did I? I loved it so much I PMed him just to tell him so. ^__^ It made me laugh and push my own glasses up from sliding down my nose every time I looked at it.

Glasses are really quite cool. Properly used, they can very much enhance the intimidation level of a character. Actually, I think Captain Kuro's method is stupid (swup) but also funny (swup). Plus my sister understands and finds it even funnier.

Now to remain on topic. I dislike Ino for being such a brat, but like her hair style. This is quite a stretch, but I'm running out of things to say.

I have an idea. Of the four Hokages, which is your favorite? You may include some of the other Kages we have seen if you like. Personally, I'd go for the second, though obviously the Third Hokage is extremely cool and I admire him as much as one can admire an anime/manga character.

Hokage... >.< Third Hokage is cool, but he's a pain to translate when he talks for a while. Of course, that may also be due to my poor skills in Japanese. I like Fourth, even if his part ended before the series, sort of for his connection with Naruto, and also because he sacrificed his life for everyone else. That's cool.

So, UC likes Ino's hairstyle, eh? I know it's a bit off topic, but she's the spitting image of my RPG character, Enoki. Not the attitude though, just the looks. I think my favorite Hokage is the Third also, but I really don't know much about the First and Second, so I can't be sure.
Anyway, my favorite Naruto character would have to be Kakashi. (Excuse me while I gush)

Yes, I know it's unoriginal, but I just can't help it. He's so cool. I have this thing for mysterious anime guys, and let's face it, Kakashi screams mysterious. He covers a good three fourths of his face, for goodness sake. I wonder what he looks like...
Up until Kakashi appeared, my favorite character was Naruto. For some reason, I was able to relate to him. I'm not very popular at school, and I was feeling a bit depressed about that when I first started reading the manga. I knew all too well the pain Naruto was feeling, and when I read the first chapter, I was really touched. Even though things are better in school now, I still feel like I can understand where Naruto is coming from.
I really didn't like Sasuke much at first, because he was kind of a jerk, but now that I know what he's been through, I feel a little better towards him. Sakura is just plain annoying, but I don't totally dislike her.
By the way, where do you guys get your information on all these characters that haven't even been seen in Shonen Jump yet? I know you can read about them on the internet, but it sounds like you're getting the manga or anime somehow.

I went to Japan this summer, so I bought and attempted to translate some manga not yet released. I also have friends who know a whole lot more than I do and give me info, and I surf the net.

Personally, I like Sakura. Granted, I can see where she'd be a little annoying, especially at first, but she matures a lot. Also, she's (in my opinion) a relatively accurate representation of girls that age, especially with the "inner Sakura" thing reflecting what she really feels. I thought that was a great touch (and from a guy manga-ka! Kishimoto-sensei rules!)

Personally, I like all of the four main characters pretty well.
I like Shikamaru a lot. He is an interesting character.

What is everyone's favorite battle that they have seen?

Tough question. I like pretty much all that involved Haku (and I wish he and Zabuza could have stuck around longer; I'd love to see Haku vs. Gaara), but I really can't decide. Kishimoto's such a genius when it comes to pitting such varied quirky and awesome techniques and specialties against each other.

If not for the strange lines on Itachi's face, I'd actually like him quite a bit. He's collected, cool, not excessively violent.

My favorite battle is still Zabuza versus Kakashi, the first time. Of everything in the series, I still like this best. It was the first fight I designated as my favorite, and I think it will stay that way for a long time.

After reading Vol. 3, I think I might like Sasuke after all.

To be frank, I was so annoyed with him (to the point of smacking him) because I made the mistake of reading later chapters (like Chap 100+ onwards) and didn't really understand where he's coming from.

But yes, as a fellow fangirl, he's definitely a cute kid. ^^

I noticed something interesting though. Sasuke's collar is kinda .....erm huge. I can't help noticing his exposed neck and collarbone outlines (Do I make sense?) whenever I see Sasuke at various angles. Doesn't it make his neck more vulnerable? Oh well..
