YES! Galaxy Express 999 is coming to the US on DVD after all! Thank you, FUNimation! Oh and those of you who aren't watching it on crunchyroll should do so! Old school anime ftw!

I wouldn't give my hopes up, just yet.

The North American anime distributor Funimation has announced that it signed a partnership with Toei Animation to start distributing the following seven titles on its website

So, they are just going to show it online and no dvd plan or talk about at this time.

Yeah, I don't see most of those coming to DVD anytime soon. Galaxy Express 999 and Fist of the North Star are really old and really long. And sports shows like Slam Dunk never do well.
Air Master is the shortest of those, so that's more of a possibility, but still...

Ewww. EWWW. I want to see some soul reaper(w00t for dubs!) vs. arrancar action, not"General Infantry Joe" movie. That put a slight damper on my mood. Maybe if I catch up on Geass I'll be able to watch that, I'm not allowed to stay up to watch Death Note or FMA(I've finished those though, so I'll just wait until the summer when I'm allowed to stay up later.

For me, I'm looking forward to the GI Joe: Resolute animation movie. Its your old school Gi Joe, but a PG-13 movie.

I have seen clips of it and it looks very good.

Rats, no Bleach this week. I guess they're making up for it by showing two episodes a week, but I still want more!

ANN wrote:Manga Entertainment is streaming the 1980-1981 Astro Boy (Mighty Atom) anime series on the YouTube video website, and the Crackle channel began streaming the 2003-2004 Astro Boy television anime series on the same site this past week. Both are remakes of the original 1963-1966 Astro Boy television anime, which in turn was an adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's original manga about a robot boy hero. The Variety entertainment news source reported last week that YouTube had recently partnered with Starz, the owner of Manga Entertainment.

Last night, I watch GI Joe: Resolute animation movie and that was the first time this year that I have sat down and watch Adult Swim.

Not a bad movie and I kind of like to see a series and put it on Adult Swim. It was much better then having Star War: Clone Wars on Adult Swim.

Really, I don't understand why AS is showing two new eps a week for. I take it that just want to hurry up and show this. After the Arrancar arc, there will not be any new dub eps for a bit or at all for that matter.

My guess would be that people stopped watching it during the Bount arc, especially the casual viewers, and they're trying to get some focus back on it.

But you will still lose them after they show all they have and then have to go back reruns for a bit or if Viz still wants to dub anymore.

Some good news for Moribito fans. Looks like Adult Swim and the Japanese company that owned the series have work things out. The entire series will air on Adult Swim this summer.

Oh cool! I was really getting into that show! We need more girl-oriented shows besides Ghost in the SHell (meaning ones that have strong girls in lead roles).
