OK, facebookers (is that what we call ourselves?), there are a lot of great time-wasters on facebook. But what are your favorites?
Here are mine:
Happy Pets
Happy Aquarium
Know-it-all Trivia
declaring you're a fan of (insert it here)
Pieces of Flair
Bumper Stickers

Shamelessly posting what I'm up to at that very second as though the intricate details of my life were something that random people who barely knew me would be interested in. You might think I'm being sarcastic, or tearing down Facebook, but I'm dead serious. I love it. I'm a little narcissistic.

LOLOL This. I do that all the time. XD That, and I trim down my friends list, taking off people I don't know/only met once/never speak to. I just wanna know why they would need to know the details of my life if they can't be bothered to talk to me outside of a computer setting (naturally my internet friends are exempt of this)! XD

Writing movie and book reviews - but that requires some brain activity.
Probably updating my status. I don't play the games.

I fourth the motion.

And I update my status too, if that counts. I personally find pretty much all online games to be rather lame, and don't play them as a result.

XD I NEVER feel bad for removing friend requests. The fairly new adage of "if it's not on Facebook, it's not true" totally does not apply to me. XD If there are people I don't know well enough to feel comfortable with accepting them as a "friend" on Facebook, I have no qualms with denying their friend requests until I know them better. XD It's more of an "it's not personal, it's business" mentality with me (even though it is totally not business, it's still not personal). XDD

Oh Bouncing Balls, I can't really get enough of that game! I don't know why it is so addicting.

Otherwise, I just update my status, upload pics, tag people in pics that I didn't take!, and coment on other peoples pics and statuses.

Oh FB, what have you done to the World?!

Do you guys remember a time before these social sites? What did you all do for that time?

SuperFlair,
Status updates,
Becoming fan of countless unrelated things,
etc...

I sometimes like to play games on facebook, but when I haven't played them in awhile, they seem boring, but I guess I'm just too lazy to continue in the game anyway.
Sometimes I do resume them at some point or another.

Also, I second and third and fourth all 'removing friend requests'... I've gotten some friend requests from people I have never even heard of, and also some kind of church I've never heard of and a pastor with a name I can't spell, let alone pronounce, that I've never even heard of. (And there weren't any mutual friends, so they weren't people I've just never spoken to in a long time.)
Makes me wonder about people... and the internet... and people on the internet...

Becoming a fan of random things, poke wars, angry debates. Oh yes.
And NO...
Farmville,
Fishville,
Pet Society,
Happy Aquarium,
or anything else.

Epic Pet Wars was pretty much the only one, and that doesn't need a ton of maintenance.

Stalking friends is the only mindless activity I use Facebook for.

Well, that and writing the occasional Flixter review, but I put waaaaay too much thought into those to call it "mindless"

Definitely status updating...it's just way fun to post either random quotes, or random references that only very few people will actually get in one's status. Bwuaha. using the status updates for actual status updates is rare. :)

I like to look at my friend's pictures. I have several friends who do photography, so they have some pretty awesome photos at times.

I used to be really into playing games on FB, but not anymore. I still play Restaurant City now and then, but not very often at all (my people are all collapsed on the floor in exhaustion because I haven't fed them in over a month).

I also like to hide those ap requests. They get annoying real fast.

Someone mentioned random people adding you as friends. I get that too. I also have gotten some pretty strange (and suggestive) private messages from people I don't know. Which is why I don't have my phone number or address on my profile.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
