While I think the stop-motion animation is absolutely astounding, I can't say that I like the movie very much so far. The reason for this dislike is, I think, primarily due to the acting. Maybe that was sort of the point, but everyone's voice just sounds so bland and dull, like there's nothing interesting about their lines at all and they're just reading them out. Every voice in it reminds me of Vaan from FFXII D:
