Joanne introduced Ai to Anei. "Anei, this is my adopted daughter and apprentice, Ai. She is going to assist me in my baptism." She then told Ai to get Anei and Eruan ready to be baptized. (OOC: This is the part we're skipping. Just introduce Ai and we'll go from there.)
--Minerva--
Minerva noticed the sadness that Eulalia had been hiding behind her attempts at humor.
I know what you are feeling, child. Have you been praying for her? she asked Eulalia.

Eulalia's smirk was gone once more and she looked at Minerva. Of course I have. Everyday. And I guess some of my prayers have been answered because after seven years, Chrysanthe is here and we have the chance to save her. Now it's just a matter of time... Eulalia replied, seriousness etched onto her face, making her appear older than what she was.

[Diamond Dragon]

Ai looked at the girl in front of her. She had to look up a bit because Anei was a bit taller than she was. She wondered why half of her hair was white, and how come her eyes were red, but it would be too awkward to ask. "Hi!" she said cheerfully. "Hi...?" echoed Anei a bit awkwardly, after a moment's silence Ai decided to go to work.

Aaliyah beamed with pride as she watched Rapheal; he was finally coming into his own. Morigan had finally reached her and the young angel warmly embraced her adoptive mother.

"Mother...", the angel started, "you look....different."

"Yes, dear. It's a long story, but it will all be explained later. I came to tell you news and bring you back home to Adelphi."

"Good news?"

"Yes. You will soon have a brother or sister."

"Mother! This is wonderful! Does Rapheal know?"

"No. He is too excited about his guardianship. I will tell him soon though."

"Where are we going?"

"I have business I need to attend to. You should return to Adelphi to train."

"But...Mother...I have recently felt a disturbance with a particular human...I am not sure why....but I have been able to watch him in my dreams."


"Is he in any danger?"

"He's in Heilgrad....with Adarah. Mother...I need to go and save him. Alone...I feel like this is my mission."

The angel surveyed the light-haired angel in holy armor.

"Very well. We will soon leave. I must first locate the High Priestess."

Morigan nodded as Aaliyah walked her way through the camp until spotting Joanne with two young girls. She halted at a respectable distance and waited to have an audience.

OOC: Just so you know, Soran, angels do have better hearing than humans, so Raphael heard every word.

"Twins!" Raphael asked happily. "Can I try to talk to them?" he asked his mother. "I'd like to talk to my new siblings."

Don't stop. Minerva said comfortingly. [i]It was Joanne's prayers that saved Saiyanne and turned her into Aaliyah. If it weren't for her prayers, Saiyanne would not have been redeemed. Or mine, for that matter. That's why she constantly intercedes for us. She feels she is indebted to us. For now, treat her as a friend."

After Ai had gotten both Eruan and Anei ready for baptism, Joanne prepared herself for the ceremony and said to Ai, "recite the prayer in the ancient language with me."
OOC: You can make up your own translation, Diamond Dragon. Only the priests, angels, priestesses, and apprentices speak the ancient language of Adelphi.

ooc: Uh, Do you mean I can make up the prayer Rock?

ooc: Yes. That's exactly what I mean. Just do it in English and act as if you're praying to God. (remember, Sophia is Krangor's god)

"I bow for NO one!", the dragon proclaimed.

"Draw your sword", Adarah chided, "and kill him."

"Now, now, let's not do anything hasty!" Yagami advised. "After all, these are both a powerful pair, and they did try to get in through the front door. They might actually have if I hadn't stepped in. And then where would we be?"

He took a couple steps and put his hand on the boy's shoulder. "Why don't we just give the kid what he wants, hmm? After all..." He flashed his million-dollar smile. "That happens to be my area of 'expertise'."

Eulalia nodded. [I]I will. She walked back towards Chrysanthe and smiled. "Well, it's morning time, so you must be hungry. I am. Just follow me," she said before walking towards her bag. Chrysanthe tilted her head to the side before following Eulalia.
Eulalia picked her small pack up before opening it. "Good. It's all in there," she said before sitting down and gesturing for Chrysanthe to sit down. Chrysanthe sat down beside Eulalia as Aristocles walked toward them.

"Really, it's all right. Kleon and I ate some berries and nuts earlier," Chrysanthe said humbly.

"Tch. That's hardly enough for someone to eat as a snack, let alone a breakfast," Eulalia said before pulling a small loaf of bread out of her pack. It wasn't anything fancy]I don't remember Eulalia being this generous. She really has changed a lot...[/I] Chrysanthe thought before opening the top of the waterskin and bringing it to her mouth. Her dryed mouth greeted the water like an old friend and her body's overheated temperature dropped after a few gulps.
While Eulalia was still rather arrogant and prejudice, she had no problem with sharing her food to someone who needed it. She hated the feeling of having pity towards someone.

Aristocles sat down a slight ways away from the girls and watched them eat. He wasn't hungry. Even if he was, he wouldn't be able to notice it, as he was scheming on how he would carry out the mission.

"All right, Ai. We'll do this together. You get Eruan, I get Anei." She placed Anei's arms on her chest in a crossed position.
"Your name is no longer Anei." she told her. "It is Shiro. It means light in the ancient tongue. Remember that." Then she whispered the new name in the girl's ear three times. This was the custom when a candidate got a new name. She told Shiro to close her eyes and hold her breath.
OOC: Have Ai imitate what Joanne did with Eruan, just don't change his name.
--De Sade--

De Sade produced a long, leather whip from his robe. He smiled evilly. "You will BOW!" he exclaimed as he whipped Lann's dragon.

Yagami sighed. "De Sade, What are you doing? You might hurt the big, scary dragon with your little toy! We don't want to damage the merchandise, now do we?"

[Ally-Ann]

Minerva watched the new arrivals closely, doing her best not to let on that she knew the truth.
"Hello there, little one." she said to Chrysanthe. "I am Minerva, a mage-level silver dragon and chief advisor to Mage Joanne. I once served Sophia, and now I serve her adoptive daughter and her family. Including all these people. They are her sisters and brothers, even if they do not share her blood. For here, all are one. So, what's your name?"
OOC: Aristocoles should be a little wary of Minerva, given her former position.

Chrysanthe looked at Minerva and smiled. This dragon was surprisingly kind, not like what Aristocles had told her. "I am Chrysanthe. It's very nice to meet you, Minerva," she replied, taking a piece of bread that Eulalia handed her. This dragon doesn't seem like what Aristocles told me about...

Do not let her kind words fool you, Chrysanthe. It is a facade, Aristocles told Chrysanthe through thought.

I know, I know.

Ai nodded and went to Eruan. Like her mentor he crossed Eruan's arms on his chest in a crossed position.

-Shiro-
New...name? my name is Shiro now? thought Shiro in surprise.

Eruan closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. He felt different. He had always believed in Sophia, but he felt like he was closer to her then ever. He breathed out, then glanced over at Anei, Shiro. He corrected himself. Shiro... He smiled. I wonder how Len will react to her new name.

--Karin--
"My name's Karin. As you can tell, I've got another life to feed soon. Three more months, according to my sister." Karin said as she sat down next to Chrysanthe. "Would you like to try and see if he or she will kick for you?" she asked.
--Joanne--
Joanne watched her apprentice out of the corner of her eye as she continued.
"Now, Shiro, do you accept Sophia as your mother, guide, and protector?"
OOC: She should say yes. Ai should ask Eruan the same question.

[Diamond Dragon]

"Yes... I do." said Shiro.

-Ai-
Ai in turn asked Eruan the same question. "Eruan, do you accept Sophia as your mother, guide, and protector?"

He nodded. "Yeah, I mean..." He shook his head. "Yes. I do."

[Ally-Ann]

--Karin--
"My name's Karin. As you can tell, I've got another life to feed soon. Three more months, according to my sister." Karin said as she sat down next to Chrysanthe. "Would you like to try and see if he or she will kick for you?" she asked.

Chrysanthe looked at Karin's stomach and tilted her head.

"There's a baby inside of you?" She asked innocently. She had been very sheltered the last five years and hadn't been around very many people, much less pregnant ones. She gently placed her hand on Karin's stomach and waited to see if the child would kick.

With his task almost done, Trevor tried to find Joanne. He had to tell her it was time to eat. He found her baptizing a girl in the river, with another girl doing the same to a guy.

Oh..so this is where they go!...Er...I'm not exactly dressed for swimming, so I'll just wave...

The baby inside Karin kicked.
"Guess she's eager to meet you. That is, if you're here to join us. We're always happy to have one more." Karin said kindly. "Eulalia, Joanne's probably at the lake. Why don't you take Chrysanthe to see her?"
--Joanne--
Joanne looked up and saw Trevor and nodded. If you wish to speak to me, I'm almost done. she sent to him. Then she got of the water and took out a small jar of soton and took it back with her. She dipped two fingers into the soton and wiped them on Shiro's chest and forehead. "You are now a daughter of Sophia." she said to Shiro.
OOC: Ai should also have a jar of soton. For the curious, soton is a special oil used for religious ceremonies. It has a cinnamony smell to it.

--Krangor--

Aaliyah smiled at her son, but shook her head. Her mind was focused on what she needed to do, and with Morigan pleading to enter Heilgrad alone was too much. She looked at her two children that were assembled.

"I will explain everything in time, I promise. Rapheal, please continue your good works and watch over Reika. Morigan...I am sorry, but I cannot allow you to enter Heilgrad at this time...not without me. I will go myself and see what I can do, but you are not strong enough yet to go there. I'm sorry, my child. Stay here....watch over the newly baptized Shiro, " said Aaliyah as she broke eye contact to look at the girl, "and over Chysanthe...I want to aid that girl, but in due time."

"When will you be back?", Morigan asked impatiently.

"Soon, I promise. But do me this: tell Joanne thank you for me and when I return, I'd like to speak with her. I don't want to bother her during her work."

"Of course, Mother."

The angelic mother hugged them both close and kissed their foreheads before lifting off into the great white sky.


--Heilgrad--

Sajuuk riled around in a panicked fury; there was no way he was going to give into Adarah or her creepy spooks, despite their beatings.

"The day I bow for that pathetic excuse of a 'goddess' is the day this realm freezes over!", the fire dragon exclaimed.

"Hush your tongue, you insolent lizard!", his human snapped. The dragon turned to him in shock; his heart more injured by Lann's words than by DeSade's whip. The entranced boy inched still further to his master's feet- who was too amused to intercede- and entreated the demon Yagami.

"So what do you mean by 'expertise'"?

[Ally-Ann]

--Karin--
The baby inside Karin kicked.

Eulalia nodded befreo standing up and brushing the crumbs off of her clothes. Chrysanthe did the same and handed the waterskin back to Eulalia. "The lake's this way," Eulalia said before she started walking. Chrysanthe started following her, but slowed when she noticed that Aristocles wasn't following her.

Aristocles, aren't you coming? Chrysanthe asked through thought. Aristocles grumbled quietly.

No. I have no desire to be in the presence of Joanne at the moment.

But then won't she suspect that we're not really for the Resistance?

Let me tell you, Chrysanthe, Joanne does not need to see us to know that we are not really part of the Resistance. I need some rest, as well. Aristocles replied.

All right, then. Chrysanthe quickened her pace and caught up to Eulalia as a lake started to come into view.

--Heilgrad--
The entranced boy inched still further to his master's feet- who was too amused to intercede- and entreated the demon Yagami.

"So what do you mean by 'expertise'"?

Yagami feigned shock. "You don't know?! I thought for sure everyone knew of the 'Majestic Dealer'." Seeing that there was no reaction, Yagami sighed and continued. "Think of the thing you want most. I can give it to you. I can grant any wish, any desire, what ever you want can be yours. All I ask is equal payment. If you desire the death of your enemies, you would need to eliminate some of mine (After all, many people don't want me helping their rivals). Of course, some wishes are harder to grant than others....Immortality, for instance, would require far too much, and you would most likely never be able to satisfy the demands."

The two siblings Yagami brought with him shuffled uneasily, remembering their parent's deal with Yagami. They sold them for land. A plague killed their parents, unfortunately.

Yagami then walked over to the dragon. "Imagine this...the most powerful dragon in the world...Able to control fire, water, earth, and wind.....I have heard it is possible. If you give me the time, I might be able to find such a spell..."

He walked back to the boy, his voice still as calm as before. "Now tell me. What is your heart's desire?"

Raphael turned to watch Reika's mother.
"I sense that you love your mother very much, in spite of your rebellious nature." he said to Reika.
"Actually, I do admire her. How can I not?" Reika said. "But I admit I feel like I need to do my own thing. Don't get me wrong, I serve Sophia. I just don't want to go down my mother's path. I'm so glad Brylin's a gold dragon. Mom's got enough apprentices. I'll let Ai do all the spiritual stuff."
--Joanne--
Joanne saw Chrysanthe and could see into her heart. What is troubling this child, I wonder. she asked herself. Perhaps when she finished, she could talk to her and discover why.
ooC: And now to introduce Karin's husband Gorry!
Gorry had gone out for his morning stroll and watch when he saw Brandon.
"Hey, need any help with that tent of yours?" he asked.

[Lockon Stratos]

"Nah, I'm used to this kinda thing, but thanks for offering. What's your name?" And more imporantly, what's with the hair?ooC:Remember Rock, Brandon's a giant of a man. Most people are kind of intimadated.

[Diamond Dragon]

Ai copies her mentor, whiping the soton on Eruan's chest and forehead. "You are now a son of Sophia." she said to him, smiling.

-Shiro-
Shiro felt a vaugly familiar feeling deep down inside her. Something that he hadn't felt since she had found Len years ago. It was joy. Pure joy. She no longer was the spawn of Pandora. She was free from the burdan! She closed her eyes as tears started to flow down her cheeks. Those tears weren't normal tears though. They were red. Ruby red. And as the water from the river dripped out of her hair, the black began to drip out of it, as if she had dyed her hair black and the water was washing it away. In a few minutes her hair was completely white.

--Joanne--
Joanne stepped back, surprised at what had happenned. She almost thought the red tears were blood, but now Shiro's eyes had changed color. They were now purple, not red. "Sophia has blessed you!" she exclaimed. She collected herself and motioned for Shiro to follow her. "Now I need to dry you off."
OOC: Have Ai tell Eruan to follow her and then when he does, dry him off.
Xavier was watching the whole thing in awe. He enjoyed watching his mother baptize. He ran to Shiro and exclaimed happily "Welcome to the family! My name's Xavier, and I'm Joanne's son! Over there is my big sister Reika and my even bigger sister Ai is with that boy. I guess you're my sister too, right?" he looked at his mother.
"My son tends to be a little overenthusiastic." Joanne laughed. "He's only four years old after all. Actually, Xavier, she's your pojil. Her name is Shiro."
Xavier's smile brightened even more. "Well, then, welcome, [i]pojil Shiro." He turned to see Trevor and waved to him. He called out "Come on in, the water's fine! My mom blessed it!"
OOC: A pojil is the Krangor word for "second cousin". Masq, have Trevor join his little brother.
--Gorry--
"Oh where are my manners?" Gorry asked. "I'm Gorry. You've probably met my wife, Karin. She's Mage Joanne's sister. And this is my dragon, Phobus."
Phobus turned around at the sound of his name. He walked up and looked Brandon over. "He must've spent some time working out, Gorry. Seems like he's done as much as you have."
Gorry saw his claymore. "Well then, let's test that." He flexed his impressive muscles. "Shall we spar?" he asked.
OOC: Ally, have Chrysanthe approach Joanne and have Eulalia introduce her. I'll do the rest."

[Twister980]

Eruan glanced up at Ai. He smiled at her. "Thank you." Then, he heard crying. He looked over at Shiro, who's eyes were dripping with red tears. His heart jumped when he noticed the black, not the hair, but the color. Was falling off of her hair. Her hair was completely white. Shiro, Light. He smiled. She looks great. He thought, a blush tinting his face.

[Ally-Ann]

Eulalia and Chrysanthe walked closer to Joanne so that they were a mere four feet from. Eulalia flashed her usual grin that always seemed to catch the sunlight. (OOC: Haha, Rock Lee's grin. =3 ) "Aunt Joanne, I have awesome news! Chrysanthe is here!" Eulalia said enthusiastically, gesturing toward a shy-looking Chrysanthe.

"H-hi..." Chrysanthe said in a voice that she wished was louder and more confident sounding. So, this is Joanne....

[Lockon Stratos]

"Name's Brandon, and this is Feld. A match sounds good." There's something strange about that staff. Either he's not human, or he has a few tricks up his sleeves."How many rounds you want to go?"
