Len's ears twitched at Xavier's request. He honestly didn't like anyone except Shiro ride him. It's all right Len... said Shiro mentally. "Oh...alright." said Len hesitantly.

--Set and Xavier--
"Why don't you want to ride with us?" Set asked his son.
"Shiro's a new member of our family." Xavier explained. "Nokisme always says we should make new members feel welcome." To prove his intentions and his love for Shiro, he spontaneously hugged Shiro.
Reika saw Eruan's sword. "That's a beautiful sword you have. How did you get it?" she asked.

[Twister980]

Eruan turned to Reika. "Hm? Oh... This was the sword my Uncle gave me before we left. Said it was my dad's." He pulled the Saphire blade from it's sheath. "It's name comes from the dead elven language, the word Bedaestael meant Judgement." He shrugged, and slipped it back into it's sheath.

[Ally-Ann]

--Joanne--
Joanne asked Chrysanthe. "It seems your dragon is staying behind. Would you like to ride mine?"

Chrysanthe looked at Joanne and thought for a moment. Even if she is evil, she seems smart enough not to attempt anything... Chrysanthe thought before nodding. "Only if it's all right with you and your dragon," she replied. She then looked at Eulalia. "What about you? Are you walking?"

"Heck no. By the time I would get there on foot, everyone'll be done with whatever they wanna do. Maybe I could convince 'Nike into coming..." Eulalia replied.

Joanne placed a caring hand on Chyrsanthe's shoulder. "I wish no ill will on you, my child." she said kindly. "Your true self is imprisoned inside you. I can free it, but only if you wish."

Shiro's eyes widened is surprise, and she looked down at Xavier hugging her. Then she flushed a tiny bit. "...You can let go of me now..." she said after a minute. Len chuckled at this.

-Ai-
Ai grinned first at Xavier, then at Shiro. "Don't mind Xavier, he's always doing stuff like that." she said a bit jokingly.

Eruan frowned, Xavier was hugging Shiro. "Don't mind Xavier, he's always doing stuff like that." He glanced over at Ai, raising an eyebrow. "Always?" He shook his head. Xavier's got it lucky... He can wear his emotions on his sleeve, no problem. His frown deepened. He has no idea how lucky he is.

[Lockon Stratos]

"Brandon. What's with your staff? That looks like it should weigh at least twenty yor, so how can you wield it so easily?"

Ooc: Can we make up some words for your language, too, Rock? If so then yor equals about two pounds.

OOC: I don't see why not, Lockon. Just make sure to define them and keep them clean.
Also, everyone make your posts about travelling to the town. We will arrive tomorrow.

Joanne and Karin's families got their supplies together.
Joanne turned to Chrysanthe and patted Kilin's back. "I'm sure my dragon won't mind another rider. He's used to Xavier riding him, but Xavier's riding Len today."
Xavier said to Shiro "You're a very pretty girl, Shiro." Then he climbed on Len slowly. "Well, I guess we're ready."

Shiro stood looking at Xavier, completely speechless. She had no idea how to react to a compliment like that. Len started to chuckle again, but stopped when Xavier climbed onto him.

-Ai-
Ai put on the knapsack that had her belongings in it, then went to Akita ad got on her back. Excited? asked Akita. Yes... answered Ai slowly.

Trevor finished packing his unused tent and other supplies and put them in the pack around Revel's neck.
I STILL can't believe you took that hunk of meat!

What can I say?....I was hungry!

You were greedy, that's what you were!

Trevor sighed and led Revel back to the group.
Let's go to the next destination.

Reika asked Chrysanthe, "Would you like me to come with you into town? Crowds can be pretty scary."

He looked around at the people mounting the other dragons. "So are we ready to fly?"
He asked, adjusting his bags.

Set nodded. "Riders, ascend!" he ordered and pointed to the southeast.

[Lockon Stratos]

All right, here we go. Don't go too crazy, okay Feld.
I have no idea what you mean.
Uh oh.
We exploded into the air, Feld spiraling her serpentine body to gain altitude quickly.

Revel launched into the air, nearly ripping Trevor's silver mask from his face along with most of his skin.
Could you slow down a little? Trevor asked.
No way!..I'm having the time of my life! Revel began to do barrel rolls and almost made Trevor fall off.
Seriously, slow down!
Alright, sheesh.... He slowed down enough to get behind the pack. Happy?
Thank you.
Oh, just don't freeze to death on me...
Trevor smiled, but it could not be seen.

Xavier watched as Trevor had difficulty controlling Revel.
Gee he thought I hope my dragon won't be that bad.

Alright Saphira, let's go. She smiled, and with only a flap of her wings, we were high above the clearing. WOAH! Warn me when you're going to go that high! He rubbed his head. She flew off after the others. He noticed Revel doing barrel rolls, and noticed Saphira's smile growing. Don't. Even. Think about it. She sighed. Fine.

[Ally-Ann]

Chrysanthe looked at Reika and nodded slowly. "I suppose it can't hurt..."

Berenike, are you sure you don't want to come? Nefron is here, right? He's strong enough. Eulalia thought to Berenike.

It is my duty as a mage who knows about an intruder to see to it that the camp is completely safe. Berenike replied. Eulalia sighed.

But Joanne's going! So's her dragon! What if I run into danger? Eulalia mentally whined.

At that moment, Raphael overheard. "Why don't I go along? In fact, I can get you there faster than the others. If you take my hand, we'll just teleport. And besides, who better than an angel..."
Wait! You're supposed to be my guardian! said Reika. Besides, it was your idea for me to come with Chrysanthe.
"Guess I got to get used to you being able to read my mind now that we're mentally linked." Raphael rolled his eyes. "If it weren't for the fact that you certainly have your mother's good looks..."
OOC: Ally, take his hand and tomorrow you're the first to arrive in town. I'll post after you do so that everyone else arrived after you and the story will have a good transition. If you want to have Eulalia talk with some merchants, that'd be fine (in fact, I encourage it)
Joanne let Chrysanthe sit behind her. She thought to herself Sometimes I wish Sophia would just let me go in there and fix everything wrong with this girl. But that wouldn't be right. She wouldn't learn anything.

Are you ready to go Yalasna? Alen asked as he secured his saddle bags,climbed onto the riding saddle and strapped himself in. In answer, the dragon began to beat her wings and then float into the sky, taking off towards their destination.

[Ally-Ann]

Eulalia looked at Raphael and tilted her head slightly, curiosity etched on her face. She then smiled slightly and nodded. "I suppose that couldn't hurt," she said in an ever so slightly arrogant voice that was more playful than serious. She took his hand and nodded as a signal that she was ready.

Raphael took them right in the center of town. "Well, my dear, looks like we beat everyone here. Now, where would you like to go first?" He used his telescopic vision to get a good look around the town. He saw the graveyard and something spooked him.
We shouldn't be here. he thought. They are here. Pandora's abominations of us. This is bad.
--Joanne's and Karin's families--
Joanne and her family arrived next. Xavier sniffed the air. "I smell rijumas!!" he exclaimed.
"Rijumas?" asked Brylin, Reika's dragon. "What's that?"
"They're apples. The merchants here dip them in caramel and sell them. I don't care much for them to be honest. Caramel can really mess with your teeth." Reika said.
Set said, "Now don't wander off too far, children."
Gorry looked in his sack. "Good, now I'll be able to sell these nice weapons I've made."
OOC: Gorry's a blacksmith. That's part of the reason for his massive build. Every blacksmith I've ever seen always has massive muscles.
Karin placed a hand on her stomach and looked around. "I wonder where Eulalia is. I think she beat us here with Reika's angel."
"Uh, Chrysanthe, want to go to the clothing store? I've been meaning to look for something for Karin's baby." Reika said. "Maybe something in yellow so it won't matter whether she gets a boy or a girl. I wish my mother wasn't so secretive about that part. She's told us absolutely nothing about what Karin's baby will look like. She wants us to wait. I can't wait three more months, I want to hold my new loji!"
OOC: loji is the word for a cousin. Unlike English, the Krangorian language has two words for cousin. One for females, and one for males. Loji technically means a girl cousin.

Saphira pushed herself. Why did you have to push yourself so fast? I feel like my legs are about to fall off. She growled. If I hadn't, It would have taken us days. They landed next to Brylin. Hm, we're the second to arrive then.
Eruan slipped off of Saphira. "Alright, I'm going to take a look around town." I will meet you back here. Saphira rubbed her head against him, then the two walked off in separate directions.

Nefron, who had been quiet the past few days, walked near Minerva and his older master's daugher as they entered into the town of Whispering Willows. Though all seems cheery and festive, he had a knot about it in his stomach. He felt a small cool hand touch his forehead; his eye shifted to see Morigan.

"Nefron...do you feel that?", the angel asked telepathically.

"Yes....I do....just stay on guard and be ready to protect Joanne and her daughters."

"Right!"

Adarah turned away and hushed her false sobs, pretending along with Yagami's scheme to get a precise wish from Lann.

"Yagami, my dear, how can that be possible? Who could preform such a feat?"


---Around the same time....

With great cunning and stealth, a slight wormhole opened into the darkest bowels of Heilgrad as the diamond-scythed angel quickly entered and closed the portal to the realm of light. As her eyes adjusted to the hard darkness, she began to make her way to the Uvorkien Caverns- a dangerous place and home to the highest ranked demons of Heilgrad and a place Adarah had not yet chartered into. Aaliyah was slightly nervous-even she was foreign to this area of the realm of darkness and suffering, but she had found her way after explicit instructions from her master goddess.

Slowly, a blacker figure than the darkness around her became visible. The angel slowly found her way to the sharp crags and felt her way into an entrance. As she crawled inside, her arms were quickly seized by two large sets of talons. She looked up to only see a large pair of glowing red eyes.

"Who are you and why are you here, angel?", asked the low angry voice.

"I am Aaliyah, Angel of Death and Courier of the Realms. I am here to deliver a message from the Goddess of Reward and Punishment, Ariel the Fair to the high demon Bartaine."

"Bartaine?!", the demon asked in astonishment.

"Yes. I have message from Adelphi. May I please be allowed to pass?"

"This way", the sinister voice hissed as the deformed creature lit the small cavern with fire from his lips as he spoke and lead her through several small passages until reaching what seemed a open courtyard surrounded by pools of fire. At the center of this was a gathering of several grotesque and large demons surrounded by a central figure. The fire illuminated a tall and strong built manlike creature-too beautiful in a strange way to be human. His body was senewy and graceful, though his entire appearance was menacing and enticing. He was adorned in ebony armor and skulls of his conquests; his black hair framed a Romanesque face with piercing blood red eyes. By looking at him, she could almost tell he had once been a high angel.

"Bartaine", she said boldly trying to hide the tremble in her voice, " I have come as a Courier of the Goddesses to deliver a message from Goddess Ariel."

"Mom--er--My Queen. We have among us a young man. This particular young man has the bravery to knock on the doors of Heilgrad and possesses the strength to nearly knock the door off of its hinges."

He paced over to the silenced dragon.
"We must not also forget the boy's partner. Such a mighty dragon, indeed! With these two heroic warriors, I believe that we can safely return your sister to your side."

Yagami walked back over to Lann and whispered quietly, "The power to rule the world can be yours. Of course, you must be successful in this task. I can help guide you on the correct path, but as for the rescue itself, you will be on your own."

The Demon stretched out his right hand and spoke in a confident voice. "Do we have a deal?"

[Ally-Ann]

Eulalia raised her eyebrow a bit and her cheeks flushed the slightest bit. My dear? Eulalia thought to herself before looking around at all the different merchants. There are so many of them... Her sight rested on a merchant who was selling weapons and and other tools. "My sword could probably use a little sharpening," Eulalia said more to herself than Raphael. "That merchant might have something I could use."

Chrysanthe smiled. "That sounds like fun! I've... never been shopping before..." Chrysanthe mumbled, her cheeks flushed with embarassment.

Eruan walked around the merchants, at the speed Saphira flew, it'd be awhile before all the others arrived. He reminded himself to check the skies every now and then. He passed a few interesting stores and shows. There was a puppeteer with his own little show, a test of strength, arm wrestling, and plenty of games. But when he walked into the shopping district, he whistled. There were stores selling clothes, weapons smiths, but one in particular caught his eye. A book store. He stepped inside, the place smelled of books, and scrolls. The scrolls had the mustier smell, which he wrinkled his nose at. "Can I help you?" He glanced behind a wooden partition, there was an old man. "No, I'm just looking around." He shrugged. "Lemme know if anything catches your eyes." Eruan browsed the shelves, he found a book on Dragons, a book about Riders, and a book about Magic. But the one that managed to snag his eye, was a book on Angels. The title was: 'The Angels' But when he flipped through the book, the tales it wove, he shut the book. Then brought it to the man behind the counter. "How much for this book?" He looked at the book, then peered through a ledger. "Hm... Strange, I don't have a price for that book listed here. In fact, it's not even listed in the ledger!" Eruan reached into his pouch, and pulled out twenty gold coins. "Will this do?" He glanced down at the gold in his hand. He shrugged. "Yeah, sure." He pocketed the coins, and handed him the book. Which he slipped into his bag. He stepped out of the store, and continued on his way. Hmm... Maybe I could buy something for that guy the mask, He frowned. I should ask what is name is when he gets here... I could find something for Xavier, maybe I'll find something he likes, and we can get to know each other. He closed his eyes. Maybe I can find something... For Shiro. He sighed, and noticed he had walked to the edge of town. A weapon smith on the left, and a jeweler on the right.
Well... That's a start. I guess.

Raphael turned back around, hoping Eulalia didn't see what he was doing. "Fine by me." he said.
--Reika--
Reika saw a puppet show. "Ever see one of these? My brother likes them, but the crowd can get too noisy for my taste. I prefer listening to the bards."
She saw someone playing a lute nearby with a case open and several coins inside. She motioned to Chrysanthe. "Like that one over there. Let's see if we can't brighten his day with an audience."

Eruan glanced back and forth between the two. Shrugged, then strolled into a weapons store. Knives, battle axes, and long swords lined one wall, while battle staffs, bows, and claymores lined the other. He raised an eyebrow. Would Xavier really want one of these weapons?
