Haibane-Renmei Curriculum

Projects or project ideas in the works

I'm seriously considering using this lesson plan in a college bible study on my campus. Has anyone other than SP1 tried this? And is there any additional advice you would give in retrospect? Also, did you use the dub track or the sub track (I have no personal preference, but I'm curious if you used subtitles, and if so, how it was received.)

Embraced by a gentle breeze, my heart breaks as I think of you.
All alone at the top of the hill, I watch as the seasons go by.

Wishing for courage softly, I pray.
There's no going back now, to those tender days when you held me in your arms.

I used the dubbed version, as my class (adults) wasn't used to anime and I didn't want to put another roadblock in the way. I wrote the lesson plan from the dub, so if you are going after "no dubs" otaku, you should screen the lesson plan for needed alterations for quoted material first.

I am not aware of anyone else who has used this, at least they haven't notified me.

So it's time someone did...that would be you.

Oh dear, it seems the lesson plan has been expunged. I have a site where I keep my artwork and writings. Please try there:
