On Tuseday I watched Hamatora episode 10. Man, things are getting intense! Also SPOILER: Highlight text to read: Nice and Moral finally meet! To be honest, my wish is that he beats the crap outta him for killing Art!

Also, I have noticed something interesting about my watching habits. So far, there have only been 3 anime series which I have watched as they aired in Japan (well, technically a week after, since I am a free Crunchyroll member); Steins;Gate, Attack on Titan, and Hamatora. And each one of them has had that ONE EPISODE where SPOILER: Highlight text to read: somebody shockingly dies. For Steins;Gate SPOILER: Highlight text to read: when Mayushii was shot. I literally remember just staring blankly at the screen, mouth dropped, not wanting to believe it for AoT SPOILER: Highlight text to read: Eren's "death". When I saw him eaten by a Titan, I literally yelled "WHAT?! SERIOUSLY?! THE MAIN CHARACTER?!" of course he came back. But shocking, permanent deaths then happened, like Levi's team. I was just...utterly speechless...and teared-up when Levi watched Petra's body thrown away, they are my OTP! and of course, with Hamatora SPOILER: Highlight text to read: Art's death. Again, mouth dropped, and I went "why...?" I did not want him to die. Moral reminds me SO MUCH of Creed from Black Cat, while Nice reminds me of Train. Maybe that is why I like this show so much. So with three times in a row, I wonder what other series will entice me to follow as it airs and if the same stunt is going to keep being pulled on me XD

Just finished up Log Horizon and Spice and Wolf. Log Horizon was pretty decent, and was different enough not to be a SAO ripoff. Spice and Wolf was simply amazing, and I am looking forward to watching the second season.

What? Aw, booo, I missed Shinkai day.

On topic, I've been watching a lot of Mushishi. Fantastic show, episode 10 is my favourite.

Lament lament, no more Mushishi to watch. Although that is a lie because I still have to watch the special episode, which I was incredibly pleased to discover is 40 minutes long, and hooray the new season is starting soon. I don't know how anyone who watched the initial run in 2005/2006 survived this long without more episodes.

Just finished Puella Magi Madoka Magica a few days ago. Currently watching nothing...although I'll probably continue watching Ouran High School Host Club or Kuroko no Basuke.

@GeneD : I watched MushiShi back in '09 I believe and yes, I was totally bummed that it did not continue. How catchy is that theme song? ;)
@ drill : In my opinion, ssn2 of Spice and Wolf is even better than ssn1! Hope you enjoy it!

So I've been sickly for about 2 weeks now which turned out to be in my favor as far as anime goes.

I FINALLY finished Dragonball! SPOILER: Highlight text to read: The time skips were so random as far as physical character growth went. The first 3-year skip everyone looked exactly the same, the second everyone looked so different! But I didn't mind since Goku suddenly looked awesome. By the way the whole ChiChi and Goku engagement-during-the-tournament caused major fits of laughter for me. But it was cute XD

I've started DBZ now and I really like Gohan! I've watched about 15 eps so far. The ending theme is fantastic. The lyrics are weird, but catchy! (apple-colored monsters and popcorn showers?) Bye, bye, bye (Go-han).

I finished FMA: Brotherhood (this took me forever because I was so depressed that it was ending). I haven't seen the OVA's yet or the movie. The end of the series got pretty bloody but I think it wrapped up nicely. SPOILER: Highlight text to read: In the end I had become very fond of Greed and was sad at his demise. :(

One day last week I decided I wanted to watch something pretty mindless since I was feeling so ill. So I watched the entirety of Hetalia: Axis Powers. Okay, some of the characters are funny, but really.... this show is so odd. I do feel that I understand history/alliances between countries more, so that's a plus. The show can be crude though. I also watched the Hetalia movie (Paint it White). SPOILER: Highlight text to read: I felt like it was so pointless! They repeated bits from the show over and over. And the aliens had nothing to do with anything. And after getting used to watching 4-minute episodes, watching the movie for an hour and a half was torture. I've started watching Hetalia: World Series but haven't gotten very far yet.

I've now watched through episode 97 of Fairy Tail. SPOILER: Highlight text to read: These girls need some new clothes! The fanservice is getting a bit out of hand at this point. I just passed the Edolas arc and I'm not sure what to think of it. It was interesting, but not as emotional as other arcs for me. SPOILER: Highlight text to read: I did like the Lisanna addition that tied everything together. And Jellal makes more sense now, too, but I kinda saw that one coming.

Oh I also started Save Me! Lollipop. Cute so far. I'm interested to see how it all ends. SPOILER: Highlight text to read: I hope Nina and Zero end up together, personally. Some parts of this series make very little sense, but I like the flow thus far. A little disappointed at some of the content, especially since this seems geared towards younger audiences. The series has surprised me a bit, though, with the emotions it deals with - on the surface everything is so lighthearted. But there's some depth in there that I appreciate.

Lastly, I've watched some more Kaleido Star. On episode 15 I believe. I like the series, but it can be monotonous. Still wondering how they are going to keep this up for 50-ish episodes SPOILER: Highlight text to read: (especially since the main character has already starred in one of the Kaleido productions). That said, I love how enamored Ken is with Sora - even if she's clueless. Too cute, I guess that's enough to keep me interested for now.

^ Yeah, I know; however, I've seen that particular trick used too many times in fiction to necessarily believe everything occurred as assumed there... and, of course, even if it actually *did,* there's still the whole thing with SPOILER: Highlight text to read: Art himself somehow being revived after *multiple* point-blank headshots, so I wouldn't assume Nice is gone for good just yet. ;)

Also, after the credits, SPOILER: Highlight text to read: it *did* say "TO BE CONTINUED"... :)

Up to ep 6 in gargantia on the verdous planet. Okay this show has gorgeous art an i adore the ocean setting along with some pretty interesting characters so far(for some reason i love the A.I chamber) but the biggest downside to me so far is the fanservice, it could be worse but it does get annoying, still I plan on finishing this show

Finished Clannad and Clannad After story. After a rocky start, I really ended up loving it. Its super annoyingly sappy and an evil tear jerker, which took getting use to but it was completely worth the struggle.
SPOILER: Highlight text to read: I absolutely love the concept of the other world and all the pieces being put together in the last episode was perfect. I think the writers did a fantastic job keeping everything linked throughout the story like the genius girls parents studies, and ushio's robot, and the dango song. All too often I find shows lose pieces as they move on, so it was refreshing to see this.

A friend of mine I met on another site begged me to watch Kill la Kill with her so I took her up on her offer. I wasn't feeling it with episode 1 but by episode 3 I was sold. Looking forward to seeing where the whole thing goes.

But uh, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone here.

I finished watching Save Me! Lollipop. Disappointed. SPOILER: Highlight text to read: Nothing is really resolved! In a year they'll go through the same emotional conflict all over again. And I was agitated that she decided not to choose between Zero and Iichi yet. Choose Zero! Why is that so hard to do?

Watched up to ep. 20 of Kaleido Star. Yeah, still not sure how this is going to keep going for so long. But I like it enough to continue and find out.

Also, I decided to marathon Sword Art Online today. I haven't watched the movie yet but I'll probably wait a bit for that. I'd heard mixed things about SAO but decided to give it a shot. I don't think it's as overrated as some have made it out to be. The art was great, and I for one really liked the dub voice work (well, mostly). The split-story was interesting, too, and kept my interest. SPOILER: Highlight text to read: I did think the cousin-thing was awkward, especially since he never had the heart to turn her down completely.
Still, all in all I enjoyed SAO. I can tell I did because SPOILER: Highlight text to read: I really, really, really didn't want Kirito to die! And he came close multiple times. He's the type of character I love to root for.
Oh I did want to mention that on Netflix this series is rated PG and it is not. Most definitely not.

Somehow wound up watching Level E in its entirety. Pretty much wish I hadn't - a bit too crass for me. I liked the first two and last two episodes. If the whole series had been like that, I would have enjoyed it immensely more.

I watched Haganai against my better judgement. Other than the parts that are offensive, I actually kind of liked it, primarily concerning how the story has turned out so far. Ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I'm guessing a third season may eventually see the light of day. Probably wouldn't recommend it overall though. Hulu gave it a Mature rating for a reason. Some of the things they talked about were so raunchy it made ME blush.

Watched the 12 episodes of Puella Magica Madoka Magica today. Very impressive. Not a typical magical girl anime, by any means. Haven't decided yet whether or not I like the ending.

I was browsing Funimation and started watching [C]: Control - The Money of Soul and Possibility yesterday. Finished it today. I picked it because it was short, honestly. (only 11 episodes)
I must say that after watching it, I'm not sure what to make of it. The series ends with a few gaps left unfilled and a lot of questions. I had to watch a character monologue video on YouTube to clarify the purpose of a certain character. That said, the concept was interesting. The power, importance, and unimportance of money. Also, it is more important to focus on the present, or on the future? This series won't be on my list of favorites, but it certainly made me think.

Yeah, especially since the language and content in the first and last two episodes was much milder.
Mid way through there were entire episodes about random people rather than the main characters, so you can imagine the almost zero character development (the series is only about 13 eps).

Wow, that's ridiculous. I guess I didn't miss anything, then. It did seem like it was going to end up being random and haphazard like that.
