Hi everyone! I have great news. Just recently I was an atheist. But when I came here I met people that helped me to show me the right path. They told me how to do when I pray, so I could pray to God that he would give me a sign, proving he exists. And so he did, and now i am a believer. I'm so happy, it feels great to have a relationship with God ^_^

No, it's too bad ;_; Almost no one here believes in christ anymore *points towards location* But the churches are still here from old times when most people was believing.

It is unfortunate -- one worry I have is that you'll be under a lot of pressure to give up what you've attained if you don't have support for your new faith. We're all pulling for you, but there's only so much we can offer in an online world.

Has anyone in your life spoken to you about it?

I have been a 'real' Christian for... *counts* about 5 months?... But that's not important! Congratulations!! Yay!!! It's great!! Don't give up, and don't forget what God has done for you! Especially don't forget! (it happened to me! But He chased me... o__o) Anyway!

Whenever you need help make sure you come here! There are lots of friendly nice people here that know alot about Christ ^-^ I was welcome here,you are too!

Continue to be a light in your community. I wish when I was in HS, I was more a light but I was more a light that was broken that doesn't want to be fixed :lol:

Cool stuff! May your faith grow deep roots and may you be a light to those around you. What Hitokiri said is true, it's not all flowers and sunshine, but when the storms come, keep trusting in God and don't back down. He'll always be with you.

Thank you so much for the encouraging comments everyone. I have alredy made lots of friends here that help me getting closer to christ.

Btw, today is my birthday (6th august) and I wished for a bible from my parents. Now I can study it in my own language. ^_^

Thank you for your concern. I'm sorry, but no one around me knows yet about my conversion. I think my parents suspect, and I've sort of prepared my brother to hear it. My brother is the first one I will tell I think. Don't worry, the only one I fear for questioning my conversion is my father, but I'll stand up against him, whatever he says.

I have yet to find an offline christian that will help me. I will soon begin a new school, hopefully, someone there will be one of us.

So, now everyone knows my situation a little better. It will be tough, but I promise I will never turn my back on God. I know He is there helping me along the way, and with you praying for me, I feel I can get past any obstacle.
