What's the story line? I've never even heard of it!
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Claude C. Kenni, a crewmember on the spaceship Calnus and son of the commander of the ship, is transported to Expel, a backwards planet with swords and magic. He teams up with Rena Lanford, who thinks he is the legendary Warrior of Light, and other characters to investigate the Sorcery Globe, a meteorite that has been causing problems all over the world.
(got that off Anime News Network)

Basically thats it, but it is filled with great characters and story twists and art along the way. If you play games it is an awesome game with high replay value as you can get multiple endings.

I've read a few chapters of each SO manga.

I liked it although I am still somewhat annoyed that Noel and Chisato are mysteriously absent from the SO:Blue Sphere manga.

I'm enjoying the manga so far, though I've only gotten to the second chapter. It seems they're going to make that one obscure character (Yuki, the jam girl) a major player in the manga like in the anime, though in the game she NEVER played a significant role. *Shrugs* Whatever.

I also noticed Claude was fairly quick to admit in the manga that he was from another world. He NEVER admitted to that in the game. He just said that he couldn't tell them anything, and Regis said he was being too cryptic. All I remember clearly is Claude's statement, "And yet, that is all I can say."

Ooh, I wonder if Regis will actually MENTION Rena's healing magic in the manga, unlike in the anime when it was never talked about. It was a big deal in the game, because no one on Expel knew how to cast healing spells, which was a pretty significant thing.

I've read some of Star Ocean Blue Sphere and I really like it. I can't find another place though to get more of it; maybe it's just not out? Anyways, if you could pm me the link I'd be grateful.
