Kimi Shika Iranai by Yoshizumi Wataru

I love this manga. Best of all, it's only two volumes. I'd give it a 5 out of five and maybe a 13+ age rating.

It deals with an affair. 16 year old Kurihana Akane married a doctor that she fell in love with. Turns out after a few months into their marriage, he had an affair with another woman, who became angry and told the young wife everything. Nothing is ever shown, and it's never dirty at all. No fanservice whatsoever. This is something that I can call mature.
Later, the doctor's older brother dates Akane, blackmailing her. He threatens to tell the entire school that she is a divorcee. He tries to seduce her during on thier date. The worst thing he says to her, is "you with stay with me till the morning." Akane proptly knees him in the groin.
The above are the only things to warn against. My scanslations had the f word three times, but that can easily be earased in a photoediting program.

I'm not good at sumerizing the story, so if anyone esle has read it, then please write one.

I greatly recomend Kimi Shika Irinai to any one. Good story, awsome art work. It's about a real life-like situation and is handled quite well. Best of all it's only two volumes.

EDIT: Eh... I guess if something doesn't make sense, just ask me about it...

I started this one a while back, but I never got around to finishing it. What I remember of it I like though, and I plan on going back and finishing it when i have time. The woman who did Kimi Shika Iranai also did Marmalade Boy and Handsome Girlfriend, some other mangas I'm reading/have read, and she is one of my favorite mangakas (because of MB ;) ). I'll make sure to put this on my 'read very soon' list.

Ooh! I saves that cover picture years ago! I never knew what story if was from (I had a title that someone had given me-- something like "I Only love you.") I should check it to this. Thanks for the recommendation!
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I read this, and it's very cute. I think I want to order it too. It's very good, and I like the part you mentioned, Shao Feng-Li! very funny. The main character (guy) I think, is very nice. He's a nice person but isn't girly or anything.

Hmm...this is one of the first scanlations I read. Toriyama's World, right? I thought it was pretty good.
Think happy thoughts.
