Dragon Knights!! ^.^

Finally I decided on making a Dragon Knights thread. Has anyone read Dragon Knights? I'm not talking about the anime version of it, which is not like the manga or has anything to do with it at all. I remember when I was looking for Dragon Knights and I saw a link that it said that they had a review of the anime version of Dragon Knights. I was very excited and I got so desapointed after I knew it was hentai. BUT I REPEAT DRAGON KHIGNTS GOOD, DRAGON KNIGHT BAD. Aslo you can see that the manga ends with and 's' and the bad anime doesn't. Well I think I post a review of the manga before but I'll put a review again.
Dragon Knights is done by Mineko Ohkami.
Mineko Ohkami is a very popular manga-ka and does a lot of front covers for magazines, since her art is so pretty.
Review:

INTRODUCTION


The Demon Hordes threaten the peace of Dusis and only the Dragon Lord Lykouleon and his Dragon Tribe can stop them.

That's alot better than I could ever write it I got this review from Tokyopop since they have the license for the manga. I own vol. 1-10 so far and vol. 11 is out already. You can find Dragon knights at Walden Books, Books A Million, Barder Books. <-- those are the only book stores that I have seen it. And you can find it at Game zone too. (But that's if you live in Florida ^^;)

Vol. 1 Review:
Meet Rune, Rath and Thats -- three warriors with dragon blood running through their veins. They've sworn allegiance to the Dragon Lord Lykouleon, and whenever evil shows up in the kingdom, it's up to the three Dragon Knights to save the day. The mighty trio are on their way home for rest and feasting when an incompetent witch and a demon rudely interrupt them. It's no fun fighting bad guys on an empty stomach! Oh well, it's all in a day's work when you're the most famous warriors in the land ...

I have alot of pics.I'll just post pics of the three Dragon Knights and then I'll post pics of the officers and other characters. I just love Rath his my favorite character of the manga. His obsses with demon hunting and he keeps everything to himself.
What he hates the most is his secretes being reveal.
He is a Yokai.
He likes Cesia, because she's liar and hates him. Rath is use to living in the castle and everyone there truly love him, but he think that's just to control him. Rath is kind of mess up, but I kind of understand what his going through.
Well I did give away spoilers. Without meaning to.

Now is Rune's turn!! Weeeeeee!!
Rune is Fairy Prince. He has elf powers and has the Dragon of Water.
Rune is usuallu calm but he has a temper. And is all thanks to Alfeegi. Alfeegi is always behin Kai-ster and what he spean his money on. And Rune is always behin Rath and telling him that he shouldn't go demon hunting because is dangerous. He also is the on on the group who's always homesick.
Rune absorbs the demon fish Varawoo later on the story and goes kind of crazy. Also Rune looks kinda of girly.
**The last pic is Rune dress as a girl ^^ He had to do a mission and he had to dress in drags. But he is very girl looking so it doesn't make that much of a difference. ^_^**

Mineko Ohkami is the creator of several shonen manga including Gekka Kajin (Lumen Lunae), a dark tale of modern fantasy where no one is what he or she seems, and Asuka2, a drunken comedy about two superheroes with the same name. Thatz/Thats is a human thief who became the Dragon Knight of Earth when he tried to rob the Dragon Lord's castle and was inadvertently chosen by the Earth Dragon to be its master. His loyalty has always been to cash, food, and the acquisition of treasures. But he's learning how to live up to his duties as a Dragon Knight. Thatz is very obbses with treasure that he would go to a Demon's belly to get it. That's how obsses he is. All of the Dragon Knights (Rath, Rune, Thatz) had to dress in drags for a mission; however, Rune had to do it 2 times. The first time it was all 3 of them than the second time Rune had to dress up in drags to make a demon believe he was the dead princess so the demon would live the town alone. ^^ Thatz look super cute in drags and it was very funny.

Now this post is for Cesia, Kitchel, and the Dragon officers.
Let's see Cesia is a Yokai Princess, she also holds alot of power inside her body. Since she has so much power, her body created 2 other different forms of her self + The real Cesia.
Black Cesia: She's mean and is completly Yokai and the most power.
White Cesia: She is powerful and is very nice. She also has the ability to turn a weapon into a small object.
Regular Cesia: She turns into a Sacret, which is little animal that use to live in the forest and is very alergic to spells.

Kitchel: She is thief, she use to in a gang in Draagon and was Thatz enemy. She is obsses with treasure too.

Dragon officers:
1. White officer/Alfeegi: He has a very bad temper but can control it. He is also very polite. And is always leturing Kai-stern about money spences.
2. Blue officer/ Kai-stern: He is most of the time traveling and on missions from the lord. He love Rath very much and doesn't want him to die, that's why he is looking for the Wind Dragon.
3. Yellow officer/ Ruwalk: He is Lykouleon's best friend and takes Lykouleon's place when his traveling. Ruwalk was saved by the Dragon Lord, when the yokai dog was attacking Draagon
4. Black officer/ Tetheus: He is very serious. He is also in charge of the Draagon army. He is a yokai and Shydeman & Shyrendora's big brother.
5. Red officer : Unknown... Actually I do know but I'm not telling. I gave away to many spoilers already.

Let me think whic one? Pobrably Nohiro. Yep that's who I'm going to post pics about. ^^
Nohiro: His obsses with fairies and want to marry one. When he first meet Rune he thought Rune was a girl ,and can't blame him, and ask for Rune hand. It was hilarious. The he is going on a journey with three little fairies, but that's going to be in vol.13 or vol. 14 and at the end of vol. 13 Sabel comes!! His one of my fave characters.

I read the first volume of the manga... I voted for Thatz on your poll... I like how he's food-obsessed! Well, I also like Rath... obessed with killing demons.

I didn't really like it all that much, to tell the truth. I'm a big fantasy fan, but I just didn't quite get into it. It seemed to me like the stories in the manga didn't quite wrap up.

I did love the sword-dragons, though, and Rath in a dress. I scanned a part of the manga for a friend to show her Rath's fire-dragon because she loves dragons a lot and I thought he was adorable.

Is a new year and new stuff are being release. Dragon Knights vol.11 is out at the book stores. And the 12 vol. should be coming out soon.
I went to my friend's website and she had this sketches of the story and how the author change her character during years. Some of them are funny though.

Hmm, I thought there was a different, more recent DK thread. O.o I'm also amazed that I haven't spammed this thread yet. Nevertheless, I recommend you pick up the series again. ^^; Yes, I find it enjoyable even though Cesia is an incurable Mary Sue and Rath is a whiny brat. *hopes she doesn't get shot for being a gravedigging accomplice*
