*is hit by another electric pop tag* *hair fluffs up* (Wait a minute... is it possible for my hair to be any more fluffed than it is on my avatar? )
Hmmm.... *gets sneaky*....
*opens the book 'The Wizard of Oz'. Disappears inside. There's a long movie sequence with Psoph in the place of dorothy, only with several other changes... the dog, Toto, is a cat, Momo, , the Wicked Witch of the West is the Wicked Which of the What, and the tin man is a toaster. Meh. Finally the movie sequence ends and Psoph ends up back in Kansas (which for some reason hasn't changed, unlike everything else), after clapping two bright red mittens together and saying 'I want to go home, I want to go home'. Runs around from house to house trying to find someone from CAA. This takes far too long, so using complicated time-travelling technology, which involves travelling to another dimension in order not to erase her future self, comes back from the future at age fourty two, having finally found someone from CAA. Psoph 42 tells Psoph 16: 'Follow me!' after which she leads her younger self to the house of Anna Mae. Psoph 42 walks away.
Psoph 16 stands there, looking at the door, with many thoughts flying through her head. Time-travelling... the fact it took her fourty-two hard, bitter years to find this one house, but that wasn't actually her... and yet it was... but even though it wasn't exactly her, Psoph 16 realises that it did take a lot of effort to find this one house.
Standing outside, she is surprised when it suddenly opened. A strange blue-haired CAA goer looks at her strangely.
"Why is a potato with hair standing outside my door?' she wonders aloud.
"I'm a Sophblob!" Psoph corrects her, but can't be bothered going through another explanation. Many deep philosophical thoughts are going through her head. Psoph 42... what would become of her now? Was all that life spent in vain, just for her to find this one CAA member?
Psoph 16 stares at Anna Mae, deep in thought.
"Tag!" Psoph 16 calls, zapping Anna Mae with a static-pop tag. She abruptly disappears and reappears in CAA cyberspace Star trek style.

Epilogue:
The toaster did, in fact, gain a heart. Unfortunately, as the only place to put it was the bread slot, it was inevitable the handle was one day pressed down, and the heart was cooked. Luckily the toaster was an inanimate object, and knew nothing.

The red mittens were mysteriously found somewhere in Kansas, where they were sold to a nearby kid for $2. This kid promptly went home and put them on auction, where they gained him $1 000.

Psoph 42 lived a happy life. She developed an American accent, obtained a fake passport and birth certificate, and has lived as an American citizen ever since, performing as Dorothy at various birthday parties. She eventually married a man who played the tin man. Not the tin toaster.

  sheesh that was big for an off-topic thing. Sorry!

Actually, we do have Firefox. CA uses it; that way I can stay signed in to IE all the time on IE, and she can stay signed in on FF. Otherwise it's a hassle for each of us to try to sign in/off all the time.

D'OH! Once again, I forgot to check just before posting! Whoops! Otherwise I would 've commented on your story first.

Cool! A lot more interesting details, with the facts about the grandmother, and I like the rose idea. Very cool; an eternal winter bud.

I'm not really sure how I got that idea. It was just random stuff that came out. This can be what it's like when I or CA get random.  Although the only thing I can connect to that random ramble was that I was trying to find some inspiration for tagging Anna Mae, and I saw Kansas as her location... also, I've been thinking about the idea of time travel for a while now.

Of course you can put that in your sig! I would be honoured. *bows*

Good story, as usual. I - Oh my! It seems that I have been tagged!

*stands around sheepishly*

Umm... let's see... who hasn't been tagged yet?

*Sigh* Yes, that does happen. But maybe by the time we reach the end we might be able to give you a few ideas that might help!

*sits down to think about who she should tag and notices that Photosoph left her time machine behind. Grins evilly and goes sideways in time, while wondering what the heck going sideways in time actually means. She eventually reaches an alternate dimension of CAA lite, in which she proceeds to tag Photosoph 3.14159 – noticing that instead of a cookie in her avatar, she has a pie. Could that be a coincidence? Hurries back to CAA to think philosophical thoughts about pie.*

Ha! I agree. *Time tags everyone in about thirty seconds flat; unfortunately, several more versions of Psoph are created in the process, and so Psoph 16.1, Psoph 16.2 and Psoph 16.3 appear and begin to cause chaos by creating time fractures on CAA...* Lol, just joking. Here's the real tag.

Pi Soph, not quite understanding the rules of the game tag, but thinking perhaps they might be an alternate dimension's version of 20-01-07, grabs hold of the time machine as Anna Mae zips sideways back to her own time and dimension. She hides out until AM leaves, then sets to exploring this vaguely familiar CAA. The colour scheme is darker... the people are oddly similar yet different... and all the forums post forwards, instead of the logical normal procedure of posting back to front. ( ) She proceeds to find this CAA's version of Pi Soph, and finds to her amazement that there is no Pi Soph; -instead, there is a Psoph! And why... why the cookie? She stares confusedly at the munching avatar. Pies are so much cooler, especially if you add 3.14... to make it a pun -the most funny, non-lame intellectual joke of all! (*coughs* Yeah right *cough*)
However, she knows she is unable to fully comprehend the ways of these backward people. Shaking her head, she prods the cookie chruncher.
"You're tagged," she informs her dimensional twin. Her mission complete, Pi Soph takes hold of the time machine and goes off on many adventures, finding even more versions of Photosoph than can be counted. Yet, she will find out, there is none as strange as that first 'Psoph'. I mean, what on earth does "The cookie is back!" mean?
Psoph, vaguely aware that something is going on she has no idea about, notices that the time machine is missing. Shrugging, she proceeds to build a new one out of twine and the tines of a fork, plastering it together with plastercine. With these top-grade ingredients, the time machine is soon complete. Hopping aboard, she presses the button marked 'Lost'.
Unforunately, this highly advanced machine has more than a million flaws. Yet somehow it manages to only flaw in one, very logical way: instead of finding the CAA member marked 'Lost', it instead leaves Psoph very much 'lost' in the land of the dinosaurs. This, understandablee *wink* makes Psoph more than a little ticked. After jumping on her hat, she proceeds to eat it in the hopes that the nutrients contained will help her survive this barren landscape. This done, she reaches through time, snatches the CAA memer Lost and drags her to the prehistoric age.
"If I'm lost, so are you," she snaps, and promptly tags her. Because of her fierce emotionally charged energy, much electricity is released at the time of the tag. Unfortunately, Psoph has forgotten that a static pop hurts both the static popper and the static popee. Both end up with afros as hideous as mullets.
Finally zapped back to her senses, Psoph uses sand and dirt to build herself a huge time cocoon in which to rest until the present day time, leaving Lost to fend for herself.

Epilogue:
Pi Soph eventually crashed after trying to repair the time machine, and landed in a strange galaxy populated by many monkey blobs who had enslaved humans and were treating them as animals. After single-handedly turning the monkey blob kingdom upside down and riding off into the sunset with a Pi Guyblob, she comes across the smoking ruin of the writing forum. For a few seconds she stands there silent and quivering. Finally 'you dirty monk-blobs!' she screams, realising that this strange world is actually the future of her own world.

The broken pieces of the time machine become fossilised in a horrible incident. Some scientists discover them years later and declare them the ruins of an ancient alien population. They aren't that far off the truth.

Psoph the original stays in hibernation through many thousands of years. Unfortunately some termites who can't be bothered building their own nest find her time coccoon and take it over, working around the strange slumbering figure. Consequently, when Psoph wakes, she bursts out of the time cocoon scratching like crazy, and rolls in the dirt for about half a day. Because of this, it take her a moment to realise that she has metamorphosised in the cocoon into a...

*cries* dude! i can't fit all of that on my sig! *whines*

Lost sees Psoph take off in her time machine, and chases her for what little time she is visible. when the machine finally disperses into thin air, lost sits down having given up all hope. suddenly a little dinosour pops out of the bushes, and lost examines it curiously. it looked strangely familiar to her, and lost jumps up and starts to run. many more of these cute little reptiles came from out of the bush, and having watched Jarassic Park III, these little things travel in packs to kill. lost definitly did not want to become their afternoon snack.
when the little monsters were left far behind in the "dust," lost slows down and sits on a rock to rest. basking in the sun, a new vigour runs through lost's veins and she a new idea comes to her. she could be stuck here for a very long time, so she might as well find a place to stay.
suddenly the rock lost had been sitting on moves, and she finds that it was not a rock, but a dinosour, like ed in disney's movie "Dinosour." lost jumps down, and again starts running through the woods. she stops when she sees a sort of cave, and goes inside to see what there is to see. with a gasp, she nearly collapses when looking at one of the walls in the cavern. there are directions to a time machine!!!
carefully following every detail to the directions, lost makes herself a time machine. it actually looks 100% cooler than Psophs beat-up old one, so lost thinks she got the better end of the deal in being left behind in this world of mystery.
before lost takes off, she goes off, and carves in a tree the rules to internet tag. "just don't get caught." then, the little monsters from when she was first left behind, jump out from behind a rock, and look at her suddenly becoming tired. lost thinks for a moment, and suddenly pokes one of them. "Tag!" she yells, and runs toward her time machine.
jumping into the seat, lost punches in the numbers for the present day, and ends up here at CAA. relieved to be home with nothing changed, she lies down in her bed. when she wakes up, she finds in her inbox, a bunch of emails and stuff like that from saying "we will find you" and "you will be it again one day." who could these be from?
