Tidal Wave

What do people see,
when they look at me
do they look at the color of my eyes
or do they try and realize
the light that's behind them?

When they see me walk
when they hear me talk
do they whisper behind me
or do they see
that i'm following Him?

And like a tidal wave
He came to save
by washing over me
with the precious blood
that ran from the tree.

DO they realize
that like a consuming flood
he pulled us from the mud
just so we could be with him
just so we could be with him
do they realize?

Will the come ever to regonize
the love that came in the form of a man
will people rejoice
when hearing of the boy who saved the world
who saved the world from humanity.

heh ^^ ok i was thinking song with this and it started with a rhyme scheme then i just let passion take hold lol sorry Magekind :P but i tried lol keep looking for more please ^^

It does seem like a song. I especially like this poem. Good job!

Woo-hoo! I does the happy dance now, which with all the flickering looks really weird on an LCD screen... Excellent rhythm. Your rhyme tried, but at least the rhythm survived. I like it.
Take it like you gave it; what else matters in the end? To be honest, it's all a one-shot test; that leaves plenty of places to go wrong, but how will you ever know? There's a pointer, I will admit. Turn it on, listen to it, feel it burn.

I am victorious! Finally, after all the years... well, months, maybe... weeks? Come on, days?! Okay, hours. At least hours of trying to make the poetic universe more, well, poetic, I have finally succeded in one case!

Where the hurt are
is where he'll be
where the faithful
is what he'll see
how come no one can see
the light that shines
the one that free's?

ANd i know its hard
that when you feel
like no one's watching
and you wonder at the small things
does he see?
can you believe?

When the world tells you no
and you have to ask why?
when the lands are fighting
and children are dying
mothers are crying
you wonder where is he?

And i know its hard
where deep inside
you wonder why all the wonders
of the world seem to pass you by?
but don't give up
for the winner of the race get's the prize.

He is there even though
it seems like the world is falling.
He is there guiding us
to his sheepfold
He is never gonna leave
Never gonna fail
be with us forevermore.
He is there.

ok i tried to keep a scheme but it didn't work lol and i have a messed up rhyme scheme lol but well i liked it so i wrote it lol but i'll try and put in more together poems in the future lol

Absolutely amazing. Put that one on your list of top five. Well, ten, at least. Fifteen?

NIght

It is a night of creativity
of a soul full of love
of a soul in strength and weakness
broke
longing for more of stillness
and silence
waiting to hear
to truly see past the darkness
to leave a mark upon time
to show the world
to speak words of gold
to write then to speak compassion
to seek depth
to seek past the world
to see indefinetly
to write freedom
to be free

This one confused me a little bit. Was the odd grammatical stuff intentional?

I found the scheme of Night interesting.

Yes, night is very interesting. Still, no real rhythm, although it came close, but good.
