I'm glad that the quieter punchlines are also enjoyed.

That's good, because the thing is going to be a layout headache later on.

A robotic camel, more or less. In the game the sprite is taken from it is in a desert level, so that seems more plausible to me than anything else.

Oh okay. It does resemble a camel in a twisted way.

Some of you may know that Mave is taking a bit of a break from manga-ka activities. In an effort to free up more of her time, I will not be sending any comics to her during this period. Similarly, my schedule is too busy to upload new comics because my courses are kicking into high gear again.

However, I will be keeping track, and when the time comes I will upload as many comics as weeks missed. Also, the stats on the main page have been updated. Fewer question marks, and some new characters.

Ah, your Intelligence statistic isn't low, it's just nowhere near as good as as your others. "Dumb" is about half the size of your bar, and a lot of the trolls have less than that. But in retrospect it does look unusually low. I probably just wasn't paying a great deal of attention while making your stats...

So that means I'm half again as dumb. Cool! (I am just teasing for anyone who is new enough to wonder.) I'll add again how much I like the ideas of stat bars. It really does add a fun twist to things. As long as I'm smarter than the average Golem Virus, I'm happy. ;)

Now here's a question for UC and Scribs: Are we going to see any crossovers?

That would be pretty difficult, given the vast differences between our mediums. However, that does strike me as a possible Time Trial idea...

Update: UC has added 4 new files. ^_^

MelodyMaker's split second cameo was amusing. Heh.

Yes, we're back... I'd say "with a vengeance" but vengeance is the Lord's, so I'll have to say:
We're back with shalom justice!
And that just doesn't have the same ring.

The good thing about having all four of these uploaded at once is that the fight sequence involving me is ended in a short burst. Meanwhile, I have finished writing this comic, so I have an end in sight.

 I'll post more after I read them.

EDIT: I'm still chuckling over that. I like MelMak and Mith's lines in "His Purpose In Life."

Yeah, I got quite the laugh out of Melody Maker's cameo. ^^

Good job on the action scenes - I know you have somewhat minimal control over the sprites, but I think it came out really good.

The MelodyMaker cameo was the second oldest idea in this entire comic, I just had to wait 25 strips to have a chance to use it. Plus, I got to use that Crono sprite.

Sometimes I'm given good material, sometimes not. The sprites for this recent battle are some of the best, so I'm pleased with the results.

I hope that someone noticed this comic hasn't updated in a while. This time I have a good excuse: I have been focusing on finishing it. Earlier today I completed the last of the comics in Stand Around Complex, which means all my work is done unless I make a few more Time Trials along the way. Beginning this weekend, I will start updating multiple comics every week until we finish. I am overall pleased with how this project has developed.

Great stuff, Great stuff!

Oldphils scenes are always my favourites! I love the whole "something suspicious in my coffee cup" thing. UC, this is really awsome.

I like the Mithrandir scenes as well (and he has a few more good ones left). Oddly, his character least represents himself.

As long as I'm good for a bit of comic relief, I don't mind being misrepresented.

Glad to hear it, especially given the upcoming comics.

Which is a great segway to announce the update of three comics. I intend to keep up that pace until it finishes. There may or may not be any more Time Trials, depending on my mood and free time.

Appreciated, Mithrandir.

Meanwhile, I'm sorry that the next update is up so late. The good side of that is that you'll only have to wait a few days for the next update. This set of comics gets the final portion of the story started, though it will last for a while.
